Level #208, aka Grandma's House, is a relatively-small level which was recently discovered in the Backrooms. It seems to only consist of small rooms and corridors that resemble circa 1980. Most of the time, it's complete darkness in this level, aside from small candles that appear in almost every room, which researchers assume were lit by Grandma, presumably to cover the pungent odor of mold and wetness all-throughout the level. Although, on random occasions, researchers discovered that a strong light source emerges through almost every window, door, or crack. Though we're unsure why this happens, it gives explorers and researchers alike the ability to see all throughout Level 208. Every step you make in the level must be light, as the floorboards are extremely creaky and loud! There is no outdoors to this space, as if you try to leave through any common exit-points, they will ALWAYS be locked, and Grandma will come stop you. She has senses like a bat, or a hound…

Known Entities

As exploration of Level 208 hasn't been through, the total list of entities are unknown. The first, obvious entity are the Windows. These windows resemble the ones on Level 4, extremely timid and observant, you can even hear them crying or whimpering sometimes. Grandma can be seen cleaning these windows, in which they tend to ease and stop their moaning. We're unsure why the windows aren't afraid of Grandma, but are afraid of explorers. Another huge problem in Level 208 are the Hounds, they tend to attack on sight, and they like to team-up! At times, you can hear a violent struggle, this is the sound of the hounds getting into an altercation with each other. Use this valuable time to pass by the hostile creatures, or get a jump on them! Grandma has been known to tame these hounds, we're unsure how, but she uses them as her personal guard dogs. It's highly recommended to wear thick-soled shoes and to completely cover your skin before entering this level due to The Mold. Some have fallen victim to it in Level 208, but all known infected we're transferred out for quarantine. Stay weary, as there might be an unfortunate explorer infected. If you come into contract with The Mold, seek medical attention immediately, as you aren't viral, but need help ASAP!

After exploring the majority of Level 208, you will find it has many different, significant rooms to explore. Each room can be locked from inside, but be weary, every lock can be opened with any small, thin object. Researchers have yet to make it to the downstairs portion of Level 208 as it's guarded by multiple Hounds. There are a few rooms to note.

Child's Room

The Child's Room is the first room on your right as you pass the stairway. Inside you'll find a minion-inspired child's bedroom, full of toys, board games, and other knick-knacks. Grandma hasn't been spotted inside of this room, yet. If planning on visiting Level 208, it's highly recommended to explore this room, as in it's storage closet, it's filled with Almond Water, medical supplies, and a range of weapons that were left by previous explorers. The board games here can be played, but be cautious. Many explorer's bodies have been found in this room, sitting crisscross, in front of one of the many board games. Researchers are unsure if these deaths were caused by the games themselves, or something else. This room is NOT safe, so stay cautious. Even though Grandma has never been spotted in this room, Grandma knows the in's and out's of her home!

Terry's Room

Terry's Room is the next room if you continue down the hallway, it's located directly across from Grandma's Room. It gets it's name from a small note a researcher found. div class="palebox" //"To whomever finds this: My name is Terry. I don't know how I got here. I keep hearing weird sounds and it's really dark. I'm scared. I think I'm just going to lock myself in this room, hopefully whatever is out there doesn't find me. If anyone finds this, please help!"// [[>]] -- Terry. [[/>]] /div
