Description
Level 212 showing a partyroom
Level 212 is the 213th level of the backrooms. This level takes a weird form as it changes from setting to setting at an unknown pace although like Level 18 it seems to change depending on childhood memories. This level only stretches to the length of places you can't remember from those memories, or to put it in short, you cant go to places your memory doesn't know of. The longer you stay here, the worse the memories get, it can go from happy childhood memories, to stuff like abuse, getting beaten, breaking a bone, and more in just 2 hours. If you have no bad memories, the world will turn into a black, empty void that is -12 degrees Fahrenheit. If you bring almond water, you might find a house you could stay in. Stores will have your favorite food or candy you wanted from your childhood, these candies will almost always have rainbows or other childish images.
The Children are a group of entities looking like kids from 4-5 years of age, these kids will always have ripped or rotten clothes and will be in piles of their own tears or blood. These kids are VERY hostile but won't attack unless you are over 30, if you are over 30 years of age the kids will bite and scratch you, they are weak as they can't cause severe damage and will run if hurt. If you are under 30 but older than 15, they will ask you to find their mommy or daddy, DO NOT FOLLOW THE KIDS, you will be sent to Level 212.1. If you are 14 or younger the children will ask you to play with them, these games can range from hopscotch to tic-tac-toe. After the game is over, you will leave the level and go to The Hub.
Apparently, someone can enter a dream they had. It always goes how the next log describes it.
Log
"I'm walking into the lobby. Walls are mostly bare concrete, a little paint here and there. Graffiti everywhere. A few beer bottles, some other trash. Looks like just another abandoned building.
More graffiti on the walls. Okay, I'm going into the hallway. The peeling paint is kind of creepy. Looks like some sort of sheet fungus. The doors are kind of weird. Some are really close, others are far. Really irregular spacing. Doesn't match up with the blueprint you showed me. Okay, here's a classroom. Pretty empty. Some old desks. Real old, like they had in the thirties. The chalkboard's got a few math problems on it. Looks like trig. Okay, I'm going to check out another room.
Back in the hallway. Heading to the next room. Desks look more modern in this room. Made from particle board. More posters here. Look to be from the eighties, I'd say. I recognize some of them from when I was a kid. Looks like Latin on the chalkboard.
[Several minutes of silence]
There's something really screwy with this place. I could swear the room was just a few feet away, but it feels like I've been walking for a lot longer. Anyway, I'm here.
The furniture's pretty old looking, what's left of it. Lot of broken chairs and desks. Nothing on the walls. Chalkboa- The hell?
You're not going to believe this. It's got my family pictures up there. The date is in my handwriting! We're going to have to be really careful what we bring in here.
I've been going the same direction this entire time, but I'm back at the stairs. I'm just going to head down. I've had enough of this place for one day. I'll meet you at the door."
