Description

Level 216 is the 217th level of the Backrooms. The level takes the form of an infinite jungle with clear blue skies 24/7. Most of the time, the screeching of the entity Manarall can be heard, mildly damaging the ears and invoking weakness. This level's terrain is strange and variable, depending on the time of day. The terrain seems to shift as the sun moves along the sky, raising, lowering, moving and pushing; frequent earthquakes are the direct side-effect of this shifting, and often they are 6.1-6.3 on the Richter Scale. This makes groups possible, but difficult, creating a low human population. This is rumoured to be the cause of all the Manaralls and the extreme overgrowth. The food in this level would consist of berries and fruits, making it hard to survive. The jungles are separated by approximately 1.5 million islands, all between 1000-3000 square miles in size, and the rest of the level being infinite ocean. The water of the ocean is drinkable, but very salty and not very nutritious; fish can also be caught in the rivers and oceans of the level. Sometimes, hot-springs and geysers can be found throughout the level, some of them a tourist vacation spot; the tourist attractions include: Spring-Paradise, Manarall Cove, Pirate Village. These attractions do not cost money, as it is believed that it wouldn't be fair to exclude the ones that don't have currencies to afford it.

Entities

Manarall

The Manarall is a monkey-like creature that walks on 2-legs and has long, sharp tusks sticking out the mouth; quills can also be found down the Manarall's spine.

Dos and Don'ts

Do:

  • Avoid of making a warbling noise, this is a signal to other Manaralls that there is danger.
  • If approaching, give it anything you have on you and it will leave you alone.
  • If giving affection, keep calm; you can tell whenever it is giving affection because it's quills look like they relax. This is a very rare occurrence and makes the Manarall "tame". Only 5% of the entire population of the Backrooms have these "Manarall pets".

Don't:

  • Try to provoke or attack, they will respond with violence and cause other Manaralls to come and help.
  • Insult, it can tell whenever you are mocking or insulting them.
  • Run away panicking if you see one, keep your calm and slowly back away.

Karamŷo

The Karamŷo is a very rare species of Manarall with intense speed and strength. You will be able to tell when a Manarall is a Karamŷo Manarall whenever the quills are blue and get redder closer to the stem.

Dos and Don'ts

Do:

  • Try to avoid more, they are very territorial and agressive.
  • If spotted, start making warbling noises. It is unknown why, but this scares the Karamŷo and it will leave you alone.
  • If they start throwing their fists around, it's now the time you can run away.

Don't:

  • Try to interact, especially attack.
  • Try to "tame" the Karamŷo, it is impossible even though there are reports of people with Karamŷos tamed.
  • Run away if spotted, they have speeds outrunning the average human.
