Description

One of the storage rooms found in Level 218. These rooms contain mainly chairs and tables.

Level 218 is a complex of hallways all leading to conference rooms. These conference rooms are most likely empty but on occasion you can find conference rooms that appear to be set up for conferences, meetings, parties or weddings. Some travelers have even reported finding supplies but this is believed to be a baseless rumour.

Level 218 is incredibly repetitive and many of the rooms are empty, devoid of any objects or entities. Some rooms however appear to be prepared for a conference, a meeting, a party or a wedding. A few rooms are used as 'storage' and are filled with objects such as tables and chairs that have no real use.

Entities

General Information

Level 218 is filled with an unusually high number of entities. Many are hostile and roam around the hallways of Level 218. If they hear or see a human traveler, they immediately chase after them. The most common entities you will find in Level 218 are smilers, facelings and 'Business'. Business is only reported to appear on this floor although there are rumours that business has appeared on Level 4. Skin-stealers are also reported to be on this level but they are far less common than the previously mentioned entities. The windows in Level 218 are also stated to be traps.

"Business"

Business is an entity thought to be exclusive to Level 218. Business is described as a figure dressed in a suit and tie carrying a briefcase. Business does not have a face, skin tones vary wildy and are random. Business can be either extremely dangerous or docile. The quickest way to determine this is by looking at its tie. If it is green, it is docile and will not attack under any circumstance. If it is blue, it is can be dangerous but will not attack unprovoked. Do not look it in the eye for too long however as it can make it hostile. It the tie is purple, it is extremely dangerous and will attack you if it spots you.

Business' briefcase can contain many things such as pens, paper, a cell phone, a laptop, a binder, some tissues, scrunched up paper, receipts of old transactions, supplies, classified M.E.G. documents or even a guide on how to leave the backrooms. The most prized possessions a traveler could want are in the briefcases of those wearing purple ties and are considered unobtainable.

Colonies and Outposts

Due to the unusually high amount of entities in Level 218, only one colony is reported to exist and it is likely that it has already perished.

Suit-N-Ties

  • Outpost located inside a conference room;
  • Does take in survivors;
  • 24 members;
  • Has a few crudely made weapons made from the legs of chairs and tables;

Entrances and Exits

Entrances

  • The door labelled "Meetings" in Level 173 leads here.

Exits

  • Through the door you came in, you can go back to Level 173 by entering the correct 6 number pin on the numpad next to the door. The combination is unknow but many travelers have stated that combinations such as '218436', '111111' and '927649' have worked.
  • Some doors into conference rooms are locked with a numpad. These doors lead to completely random rooms and the rooms they lead to change every minute or so. To exit through one of these doors you must enter the correct 3 digit pin. The pin is stated to be many things such as '495', '114' and '288' but it is impossible to know for sure. However it is rumoured that if you enter a hash followed by the room you want to go to and then a star, the door will unlock and take you to the room. This is only limited to rooms in the double digits however.
  • One exit has been documented to have been found in the back of a storage room. The exit will take you to Level 178.
