Description

Level 228 is a replication of a Chinese district in the United States of America, primarily San Francisco, and Philadelphia, it is similar to level 11 in that there are stores, apartments. and general buildings you would find in a city. Notable features of this level include stores of water, almond water, and ramen, sticking on the topic of buildings, it has been discovered that some of the buildings are non-Euclidean, while the rest are Euclidian. Level 228 is 1200m by 1200 miles wide (1931km by 1931 km). Level 228 also has a working sewage system, however, going too deep in the sewers may lead you to a sub-level that has not been documented.
Level 228 also seems to have buildings of Philadelphia, San Francisco, and other U.S. cities that have Chinese districts in them, however when going towards them they seem to only reveal more of level 228, there is also a theory that this can be a possible entrance to the front rooms, however, this has not been confirmed, and neither the M.E.G. nor B.E.O. has yet to experiment to this theory, there is also another theory that states that Chinatown is the first part of this level, and that the rest of the level is outside level 228, again, the M.E.G. or B.E.O. has yet to try this out.
Level 228 Has an interesting transportation system known as the "subway", going in the subway an elderly man wearing conductor gear will approach you, and then ask you where you want to go, he will also show you a map of level 228, there are 5 locations you can go to, North, West, South, East, and Central. Asking to go to any other location will be met with no response, attempts to move him out of his conductor room have ended in failure and all other attempts have been canceled.
Overall level 228 is safe and is habitable, it is a good level to settle down in the backrooms for a while, however, it is recommended to not stay at this level for a while, because every 6 months, entities will start coming out of the sewer and the sky will turn black for 5 days. It is recommended to leave during this period. When the period is not in effect the only entity on the level is the passive conductor.

- find a hole in the floor in level 227 at Stage 3, and you will be dropped into this level.
Exits
- Find a military encampment in the center-south of level 228, there are 4 tents in a square shape, go in the top right one, you will be teleported to level 229.
- Going too deep into the sewers of level 228 may lead you to an un-documented sub-level.
