Level 239 is the 240th level of the Backrooms.

Description

Level 239 also known as the "Infinite Arcade" appears to be a large, circular arcade, built sometime in the 2010s, with more modern games in the middle, with the games getting less and less modern the closer you get to the edge.

When a wanderer spawns into this level, they will spawn facing the Prize Counter, which is a circular area in the exact middle of the level. The Prize Counter looks similar to a Prize Counter found inside of an arcade in the Frontrooms, with various prizes being able to be redeemed with tickets, won by playing the games found throughout the level. The Prize Counter in Level 239 is different than normal Prize Counters found in the Frontrooms, normally, you would use tickets to redeem prizes such as candy or toys, but in Level 239 tickets can be redeemed for things vital for survival in the backrooms, such as cans of Almond Water, Weapons, Flashlights, and First Aid Kits. Various other things can also be redeemed from the Prize Counter such as vouchers for free food at the Concession Stands throughout Level 239, Walkie Talkies, and a Compass, which appears to point towards the exit to the level that you're in, and even "tickets" to other levels of the Backrooms. Here is a litst of the prizes you can redeem with tickets, followed by the cost of each prize.

  • A carton of Almond Water for 500 Tickets
  • A can of Almond Water for 1,000 Tickets
  • A compass for 1,500 Tickets (This compass appears to point to the nearest exit of the level that you are on.)
  • A flashlight for 2,000 Tickets
  • A bottle of Almond Water for 2,000 Tickets
  • A voucher for a free meal at a Concession Stand for 2,500 Tickets
  • A lighter for 2,750 Tickets
  • A First Aid Kit for 3,000 Tickets
  • A set of Walkie Talkies for 3,500 Tickets
  • A combat knife for 5,000 Tickets
  • A machete for 7,500 Tickets
  • A handgun for 10,000 Tickets, the gun already comes with a full magazine, however, more magazines can be redeemed for 7,500 Tickets.
  • The "tickets" to other levels of the Backrooms have a different price range, ranging from 10,000 Tickets, all the way up to 100,000 Tickets.

When you tear one of the "tickets" that send you to another level of the Backrooms in half, you will black out, and wake up in the level the ticket was designated for.

In order to redeem these prizes, you're going to need tickets, which can be obtained by playing the games found throught Level 239. In order to obtain tokens to play the games, walk up to the Prize Counter and get the attention of one of the Adult Facelings at the counter, often refered to as the "Attendants", and they will give you a card which will let you play however many games you want to.

Concession Stands can also be found throughout Level 239. These Concession Stands sell various foods to you for tickets, or if you have a voucher for free food at one of the Concession Stands, you can use one of those instead. Food found at the Concession Stands are foods that are commonly found in the Frontrooms such as Pizza, Macaroni And Cheese, Hot Dogs, and Cookies. You can also buy cans of Almond Water from Concession Stands as well.

If you venture out far enough away from the center of Level 239, you will find Party Areas. These should be avoided as much as possible, as small groups of Partygoers are found at the Party Areas. Party Areas are not very common until you reach the edges of Level 239, which is why if you want to leave Level 239, you are better off redeeming one of the "tickets" at the Prize Counter. Cakes can also be found at the tables of the Party Areas, however, these should not be consumed as they are nearly identical to the cakes found in Level 3998.

While wandering around Level 239, you will find both Child and Adult Facelings throughout the level. It is safe to interact with the ones wandering around, however, it is best to leave the ones playing the games alone, as bothering or interupting them will cause them to get extremely agitated at you, and sometimes they will try to kill you, so its best to just leave them alone.

If you ever feel that you are lost while exploring Level 239, don't worry, there are arrows commonly found on the floor that will lead you back to the Prize Counter.

Entites

Facelings

Moderate amounts of both Adult and Child Facelings can be found in the inner parts of the level, there are three types of Facelings in Level 239:

  • Attendants: Friendly Facelings found at the Prize Counter
  • Guests:Docile Facelings playing the games found throughout Level 239, it is best to leave hem alone, as interupting or distracting them results in them becoming aggresive towards you, and they might end up killing you.
  • Walkers: Facelings found walking throughout Level 239, they are helpful in case you get lost, as they can point you back towards the Prize Counter.

NOTE: One way you can tell that you are getting close to a Party Area is the distinct lack of any Facelings.

Partygoers

Partygoers can often be found in small groups near and/or at the Party Areas found in the outer parts of Level 239.
