Level 256 is the 257th level of the backrooms ==Survival Difficulty: Class 3== Unsafe

Unsecure

Low entity count

Description

Level 256 is a 80 foot deep crater, approximately 352 miles in diameter. the 256 is full of dark grey sand and palm trees with coconuts. there is a small oasis near the center, but some can be found scattered around randomly throughout this level, all of them can provide water. there are also buildings on the outside of the crater that extend seemingly forever into the clouds.

This level has few special properties, the crater is inescapable, even with any form of modern technology, if you try to climb up or dig your way out, you will collapse and find yourself back where you started, another thing is that sometimes a building will appear if nothing is viewing the area it's at, but this building seems to vanish if you try to go to it.

Entities

There are 2 different types of entities here, which are referred to as Malixal and Falix

Malixal are massive worms with hundreds of teeth, similar to the sandworm from the book Dune, although much smaller and slightly more docile, although it will attack if you disturb it, hurt it, or trespass on it's territory.

Falix are much more aggravated than Malixal, although much smaller, they look like green snakes that spew acid out of the palm trees they lurk in, sometimes they spew acid into the coconuts in palm trees to make a trap, but this usually doesn't work because it makes the coconut melt and survivors won't pick it up.

Colonies and Outposts

The Rye colonists are the largest group here, with an estimated 540 member population, these people usually just build shelters near the center and trade with other travelers, their primary language is a distorted combination of English and Russian called urроsткhиorйt
