Description
The area where you usually spawn.
Another angle of the starting area.
Level 262 appears to be absolutely infinite. Rarely, you may spawn in the middle of the tracks, very far from the spawning area. This does not affect anything, however, just your location of spawn. Every wanderer spawns in a station, and very rarely may spawn alongside another wanderer. This level has a special event.
Level 262 looks to be an abandoned, 2000-ish subway. The level itself is dimly lit, apart from some windows and lights. The windows are impossible to reach unless you can stack yourself up there, after which you will just see a white void. The reasoning for this is unknown. This level houses frequent Almond Water, Liquid Pain and many other substances, (as well as food and rarely bandages) making it a somewhat nice place to stay. There are stations every 50,000km2, meaning if you walk that distance you may see another human, thought it is likely they have already walked away or have taken the train.
Usually, a train will pass by and stop to every station. It is a standard, subway train, and for some reason is in perfect condition, that does not fit in with the environment. Meaning, it isn't rusty and looks perfect. If you decide to go on the train, you can see Facelings, usually sitting, reading newspapers or standing. Attempting to go into the conductor's area will prove unsuccessful, as all current methods are impossible. The door is locked shut and all windows are blacked out. Sometimes, the Facelings may have a Hound on a leash. The hound itself will not attack unless provoked.

The train are usually where people meet and rarely, seek shelter for awhile. Hostile Smilers can be seen in the non-lit areas, though you should never go there anyways.
Event: "The Trains"
"The Trains" is a special event that occurs every 12-24 months. All tracks will be occupied with 3-4 trains, making absolutely massive crashes. This can result in a lot of injury or deaths.
All trains that you see are different brands and can even be trains from the 1950s or trains that look like they're from the future.
It is advised to seek shelter during this event, as when the train collisions happens, shrapnel, explosions and general injury will, without a doubt, happen. You can seek shelter far away from the collision, behind a strong structure, etc...
Entities
Facelings, Hound and Smilers are all present on this level. No other entity has been documented aside from these 3.
