Description
A picture of the hallway in a normal state. The cameraman is presumed alive.
Level 265 seems to be a monotonous hallway complex that goes on forever in one direction. The walls are mostly white with the occasional grey tile. There is nothing in the hallways except for an erroneous "water" fountain that will come up every few miles and dispense different liquids depending on the current nature of the level. The hallways are described to be either living or connected with the person that walks in it. The hallways will pulsate gently at the exact tempo of the heartbeat of the wanderer. Many accounts tell the tale of how the hallways slowly start reflecting the current mood of the wanderer. One wanderer was scared due to separation from his group. He reported seeing the halls and lights turn a hue of dark purplish black and the hallways closing in on him and cornering him off, causing claustrophobia. Another wanderer had previously been in Level 708 before no-clipping here, and he was confused as to why he got here. He reported seeing the halls become a faint light yellow, and the hall starting to twist like a twizzler in the distance. The dangerous part of this level is that the darker or more dangerous a mood is, the worse response the halls will give. There is a rumor that a deranged former M.E.G officer had ended up here with a murderous mood. The halls started shaking violently, pulsating ridiculously fast, and glowing a dark red hue. The tiles started to extend rapidly into the hallway akin to punching. The hallway then split in two, making the officer fall into the void. An anomaly of this level is that the things that happen seem to be in the wanderer's mind, as groups of explorers that spawned in together reported seeing different things. Having an outburst of emotions will cause the level to "overload" and collapse in on the wanderer like a blackhole.
If one wanders too long in a single emotion, another hallway will open in a separate direction. If one heads there, they have a chance of meeting the Colored Dragon. The Colored Dragon is a peaceful entity that wishes for you to see the whole spectrum of emotions. It will guide you to see the truth, how staying in one emotion is bad for the health, whilst rapid emotion outbreaks are worse. It wishes you to be happy, the most superior emotion. People who have been enlightened by the Colored dragon are known to be very stable even in mental hazard levels, and they know when to show each emotion. They are often nicknamed "Colored Disciples" due to their evangelistic manner. The colored dragon will reflect the hue of the level, and have a similar attitude. Sometimes, the Colored Dragon will judge you as not worthy. This may happen to those who have gone too far in insanity to be turned back. A way to immediately befriend the Colored Dragon is offer it a pouch of skittles or rainbow twizzlers. It cannot resist these, and if you show you have it, it may even attempt to kill you if you don't give it up. It is very lenient and will accept many terms.
The most common way to enter this level is become so filled with a singular emotion, that you no-clip. Exits are not well known, but if you meet the Colored Dragon, it will offer to no-clip you to a habitable level after it has trained you.
Reported Variations of the Level
There are over 9,400 emotional variations that have been reported, but here are some of the most common ones:
Please feel free to add to this list if you discover any more, or improve any existing emotions.
Anxious -
If one is anxious when they come into this level, the level will tilt askew and the halls will turn into a hue of light pink. This forces the wanderer to try and stay level and balance. This does not affect others, and they will simply walk by as if nothing happened, as they are in their own emotions.
Scared -
If one is scared when they come into this level, the level will get a dark purplish black hue, and the walls will close in and corner off a wanderer so they cannot move and it induces claustrophobia. It is unknown if the Colored Dragon will assist these people.
Annoyed-
If one is annoyed when they come into this level, the halls will gain a hue of orangish-yellow, and will shake gently. Usually this disappears rather fast to an emotion of confusion or anxiety due to surprise at the level shaking.
Normal-
If one does not feel a particular emotion, this in itself is an emotion. The hallways will remain the same until another emotion takes over.
Hazy-
Similar to Normal, but the distance will be foggy and the level will be prone to shift so you crash into a wall. This emotion is described as when you have literally no thoughts in your head and you feel dead inside.
Happy-
If one enters the level in a happy state, the halls will turn a light blue, and radios will appear playing happy music. Occasionally , the level will "dip up" when a person gets particularly happy.
Bliss-
If one enters the level feeling ridiculously happy, The wanderer will want to jump up and down gracefully, with the halls following suit and having an otherworldly hue. Wanderers may even experience weightlessness and floating through the halls while the halls play classical music.
Confusion-
If one becomes confused during this level, the hall will start twisting like a twizzler in the distance and gain a light yellow hue. Even if one enters into a different emotion, the wanderer will still have to get past the twisted part of the halls when they reach it.
Anger-
If one is angry when they come into this level, the halls will get a red hue and will occasionally "pound down". The pounding will get worse if the anger starts getting worse.
Sadness-
Being sad in this level is dangerous, as the hallway will get a dark blue hue and completely flip upside down on the wanderer, making them prone to injuries. Wanderers have been reported dead due to landing on their head and sustaining a neck injury. This weirdly shows on a wanderers corpse to others, even though they couldn't see what was going on to them.
Depression-
Depression is a worse variation of sadness, with the halls flipping upside down, and gaping holes leading to the void appearing in random spots. If this gets worse and the wanderer survives, this may lead to a suicidal mood
Suicidal-
If one becomes suicidal in the level, the water fountain will start gushing blood, and the hallways will become entirely black. The Colored Dragon is known to appear and make a last ditch effort to save the wanderer.
Entities
Entities may be seen as you walk through the halls. They are usually not hostile, because they are overcome with an emotion. If they are in an emotion of anger, depression or something similar, they may attempt to attack you. If a partygoer comes into this level, the Colored Dragon will appear instantaneously in fury and rip its head off. It believes they are abominations that must be purged, things that only stay in one emotion for the fun of it. This is an alternate way to meet it.
Colonies and Outposts
Other than individuals trained by the dragon, there are no colonies and outposts in this level.
Entrances
Being filled and overcome with a single emotion is the only reported way to enter this level.
Exits
- Meeting and being trained by the Colored Dragon will lead you to a habitable level or The Hub
- It is possible that calming down and controlling your emotions yourself will lead you to a safe level
