Level 315: Mundane Columns
Survival Class: Class 3
- Unsafe
- Unsecure
- Medium Entity Count
Description
Level 315 appears to be an immense room that extends for an unknown distance, commonly theorized to be endless. Level 315's ceiling is so great in vertical extent, any wonderer who enters this part of the backrooms is unable to see the top due to the light fog that lingers through this level. There are concrete pillars that are evenly separate from one of each other that because of a travellers incapability to see the ceiling due to the fog, seems to stretch vertically infinitely. The ground is made of a sort of glass that is very reflective, so much that you are able to see the pillar's reflection abundantly clearly.
Picture of level 315
Level 315 contains practically nothing in-between the pillars, and is almost completely devoid of aught, but that is what someone with no experience would think. When someone first enters Level 315, the area which they are now in, commonly known as the spawn area, is bereft of anything, but it is estimated if you travel approximately half a square mile you will begin to witness some more things. The most recurrent thing is Almond Water laying on the ground.
You will start to notice more things as you go on. With first bijou things such as Almond Water, and things with a greater distance, in particular pieces of furniture such as chairs or beds. The origin of how they got into level 315 but is theorized that 315 was some sort of facility.
When you enter level 315, the one of the first things you notice is (other than sight) in the distance a faint ambience. Here is the highest quality clip M.E.G has provided.
The ambience
The End
The End (not the level idiots)
"The end" of level 315 is just simply a large concrete wall that surrounds the entirety of 315. It is unknown as where the end is due to how M.E.G still doesn't know how long this level extends on for. It is estimated to be around 10 square miles, or maybe more.
The wall is surprisingly thick with being 10 meters thick. A person managed to noclip through the end and saw a glimpse of level 11, it is theorized that if you noclip through the end you may be taken to level 11. But where that person went is back to level 4.
The following picture is an image captured by a drone that was taken through the real world. The Pillars also seem to be way more together than what is seen when you first reach level 315 before the half square mile mark.
The Ceiling
A picture of the ceiling
The Ceiling of level 315 is simply the maximum you can reach vertically. It is straightforwardly the top. It is near impossible to reach without proper equipment, and there really is not proper point of any reason why anyone should even want to be up there. What is outside of the ceiling is unknown but is predicted to be the void, or level 11.
Here is a picture of a drone's capture of the ceiling near the end.
Entities
Yes, Level 315 is for the most part completely devoid of anything whatsoever, but somehow level 315 still has inhabitants that roam this certain sector of the backrooms. There are no entities exclusive to level 315.
- Facelings (Both Friendly & Hostile)
- Hostile Death Moths
- Hounds
- Clumps
- Skin-Stealers
Facelings
Facelings are the most common entity you will find, and probably will be the first one you witness.
When you see one, you will most likely see it casually walking through the vast emptiness Level 315 has to offer.
Friendly
This type of faceling is the most common and you will find more friendly facelings than hostile. These entities are harmless until provoked.
Hostile
This kind of faceling is slightly more rare than a normal friendly Faceling. If a faceling simply sees your presence it will hunt you down. An average human's running speed is around 7-15 MPH which is faster than facelings that are relative to Level 315's running speed.
Death Moths
There are many reports of travellers seeing or even being attacked by a death moth in level 315. Most death moths seen in this level are normally female, but male death moths can still be seen. Death moths relative to this level seem to have slightly worse sight than a normal human would, so if you see one in the distance, it probably hasn't seen you. Advice for if you do spot a death moth, simply go in the opposite direction, and if it has spotted you, run the other direction.
Hounds
Not so many sightings of this entity have been reporting roaming this area, but is still counted as an entity that inhabits this level. You have a somewhat high chance of outrunning a hound due to the extensive bareness Level 315 has.
Clumps
You can see clumps more often if you pass the half a square mile mark. They are relatively non-hazardous and don't see you as a threat. If you do try to attack it's many legs and arms it will try and harm you. Just simply don't provoke it.
Skin-Stealers
Skin Stealers in this level are rare, and for most travellers they wont even see them at all. They normally like to inhabit areas of level 315 that are distant from where you end up if you enter this level. If you spot one and it hasn't spotted you, you are very lucky, simply go in the opposite direction that the skin-stealer is in. If it has spotted you, good luck.
Entrances and Exits
Entrances
Entrance methods in level 315 are quite limited, you only have a few choices if you want to leave 315.
There is a chance if you walk into wall in level 4 you will be taken to level 315 which you will come out of a concrete pillar.
If you fall through a noclipped floor in level 22, you will be taken into level 315. Yet this method is not reliable due to how rare noclipped floors are in level 22 and overall how difficult level 22 is to leave or even to enter.
If you walk through a noclipped pillar in level 121, you have a chance for you not to be brought to level 4, level 11, or level 998, instead you could be brought to level 315.
Exits
The main methods is by noclipping through one of the main structures of level 315. Such as:
Noclipping through the pillars, which will bring you to level 4, 11, 22, 121, 998 and perhaps much more.
Noclipping through the ground. You have a high chance of being brought back to level 0.
It is heavily believed there are more ways of exiting level 315.
Colonies and Outposts
Even though level 315 really doesn't have much to offer, people still used it as a base in the backrooms. One of these colonies are called Base Europa.
Base Europa
Base Europa consists of 14 members and they have set there base on a pillar. They have used the very limited quantity of furniture in level 315 to form a structure. Here is a picture of their base.
