> Description[]
Level 334 consists of a boundless office building with a seemingly haphazard layout. The rooms are mostly devoid of furniture, with the only present non-discarded objects being the levels' unique vending machines. They are randomly scattered around rooms and hallways, some can even be found lying broken on the floor. The machines can dispense any types of snacks and drinks which are/were found within the Frontrooms, even the ones from older periods and the ones which aren't produced anymore. Turning the vending machines on is relatively easy. It can be done by inserting any object which is shaped like a coin in the small coin dispenser. Strangely enough, the machines lack any coin identification system, with any coin or coin-shaped object being suitable for buying.
It is speculated that the vending machines are impossible to break and that they are made out of a supernatural material that reflects any damage done to the machine. Many people have tried to hit them using strong items, although they reported that they felt immense pain and bleeding like they were the ones hit with a hammer. Most of the machines have an infinite supply of products inside them, possessing the ability to refill themselves every time they are out of the sight of a person. Electricity and power do not matter to the vending machines. They can work even if they are plugged out. The contents of the snacks and drinks vary from machine to machine, thus it isn't the best choice to drink/eat them. Before ordering anything one should check the expiry date to prevent diseases or sickness.
The level is dimly lit, with there being almost no light present. The vending machines produce a slight glow, which is the most light that can be found at this level. Most entities are attracted to the light, thus it would be better to not approach it. Level 334 has an abundance of fire alarms and outlets, but they don't work if one attempts to activate them, making them seemingly useless. If a wanderer goes too far they will be greeted doors with vibrant exit signs. They usually lead the wanderer back to where they started, but a few people have reported that they were sent to random levels. The rooms also are filled with windows that show dark silhouettes of cityscapes that are seemingly devoid of any life. Level 334 doesn't change temperature, instead, it always stays at a slightly cold -20 degrees Fahrenheit. Wallpaper is commonly present on the walls, although it is usually found in bad condition.
While wandering, one may hear very quiet songs. They sound like normal songs from the Frontrooms but with non-distinguishable lyrics. No one knows the source of the sound, as it always sounds far away no matter how deep one gets in the level. Some have speculated that it is an entity, or a radio, but there is no concrete evidence proving any of these claims.
Posters are also commonly found while traversing Level 334. They reference the many brands of sodas and snacks that the level vending machines may dispense. Some of them even advertise objects and locations from the Backrooms itself, like The Game, Victoria's Almond Water, J. Barry Mental Institute, The Delta Mall, and among many others. These posters are unique due to them being able to regenerate if a person or entity attempts to peel them off or damage them.
Level 334 has a slow internet speed which isn't very reliable as it occasionally runs out. Weirdly enough, many websites will be blocked if you use the internet within Level 334. These are mostly ones relating to the Backrooms, or Level 334 itself.
Level 334 doesn't only consist of the vending machine-filled hallways and small rooms, it also contains:
- Cafeterias
- Restrooms
> Entities[]
Level 334 has a few entities, although it is easy to escape them and hide due to the level having barely any lights at all. The most common entities that can be encountered within Level 334 are Smilers, Windows, Hounds, Snares and Skin-Stealers. There have been reported sightings of entities such as Wretches, Needlelimbs, and Slashers. These are only speculated with no proof, so they most likely are just hoaxes.
> Colonies and Outposts[]
Outpost Petra[]
The Outpost Petra is the most known colony/outpost in Level 334. It is named after the person who discovered Level 334, Felipe Petra. They are known for helping wanderers. They are open to trading if you give them what they want. They are composed of 27 estimated members.
There have been many other outposts, although they usually have less than ten members and aren't worthy of mentioning.
