Level 342 is the 343rd level of the Backrooms.

Description

Level 342 is a liminal-space facility reminiscent of SCP facilities. It contains walls lined with nearly every entity from the backrooms, with only a few exceptions. It contains several rooms, such as cells, cafeterias, armories, and barracks. It has plenty of food, water, almond water, medical supplies, and more. There are pipes filled with assortments of liquid, fluorescent lights that can change color, and ventilation that can be seen in some of the “biomes” within the level.

Biomes

There are a total of 4 biomes within this level, each with different rooms and types of containment.

The first is the main facility. This is the most common “biome,” with common impenetrable containment rooms that contain at least one of a species of entity from the Backrooms. This place is clean, well-lit, and food is plentiful.

The second is the lower levels. This is below the first level, and there are ventilation grates along the floor. This is where the piping and, well, ventilation are visible. The walls are a black, plated steel, and during the containment breach event, this biome is filled with steam.

The third is the monitored level, sections of the level that are monitored from several surveillance rooms, and among the safer parts, even when during a containment breach event.

The fourth and final biome is the true containment, accessible, small recreations of other levels of the Backrooms that can be entered. These only stretch for around a mile, and there always seems to be an exit to the rest of the level from within it.

There is an event that can occur every 72 hours, with a 25% chance of happening after said 72 hours, where all of the containment glass will break, releasing every single contained entity. The fluorescent lights will change to a deep red, and alarms will blare. It is recommended that every wanderer enters a room and seals the doors. After 3 hours, the entity will be returned to their containment, and the glass will repair.

Entities

There are so many entities within this level that it would be easier to list the ones not within this level.

Entity 74A and 74B cannot be found here. The thing on Level 7 cannot be found here, either.

Entity 1228 can be found wandering around, and studying the contained entities.

There have been rumors that contained Partypoopers can be found here, but these have yet to be verified.

Colonies and Outposts

A few colonies can be found on this level, but due to it’s nature, there aren’t very many.

The True Foundation

  • A group of wanderers who believe they are the true SCP foundation
  • Are not willing to trade
  • May trick you into being used as a test subject.

The Cafeteria Gang

  • Lives within cafeteria segments
  • Are willing to trade
  • Great cooks
