Level 361 is the 362nd level of the Backrooms.

Description
Level 361 is comprised of several vast lakes filled with an unknown liquid resembling water. Small stretches of land, consisting of dirt, clay, silt, and sand exist between the lakes, but due to the sheer size of the lakes these are few and far between. There are no known usable resources available on Level 361. It is highly recommended for a traveler that, for any reason, wishes to travel to Level 361 to bring a shovel, as the only known exit from Level 361 requires digging.
The liquid that fills the lakes of Level 361 has been observed as having a very high salt content, although the exact measurement of salinity is unknown due to the liquid's second property: its high corrosivity. The liquid of Level 361 has been described as "the most aggressive acid that could be described" by an anonymous explorer. Any object or explorer that is unfortunate enough to come into contact with this liquid will be dissolved almost immediately. Additionally, the liquid constantly bubbles, caused by its high temperature, described as being close to twice the boiling point of water (100° C). Avoiding any contact with this liquid is crucial to survive this level.
Entities
Large marine creatures resembling whales known as "Acid Divers" roam between 50-200 feet below the surface of a sparse number of lakes in Level 361. These creatures are not known to be hostile, as they have not been observed to emerge from under the surface of the liquid of the lakes. It is unknown how these entities survive the liquid, nor how they gain sustenance. A concrete physical description of the Acid Divers does not exist, as no explorer has gotten a clear view of one.
Colonies and Outposts
Due to the nature of this level, colonies and outposts are unable to be established.

Entrances and Exits
Entrances
The only known entrance to Level 361 is to arrive from Level -33.1 via falling asleep inside the water of the danger zone for a sufficient period of time, somewhere between 6 and 18 hours. However, this is rare and may not be guaranteed to lead to Level 361.
Exits
It is possible to exit to a random level, most likely Level 7 with a slight chance of arriving at Level 362, by digging a hole in the various patches of ground around Level 361 and jumping inside. However, the probability that a section of ground leads to an exit are seemingly random and digging into a patch of ground which is not an exit opens up a geyser which spews out liquid from the surrounding lakes. It is unknown whether exits from Level 361 are consistent, or whether a patch of ground exiting to a particular Level is random.
