Level 372 is the 373rd level of the Backrooms.

Description

Level 372 resembles a road-less neighbourhood. It is speculated that this level has an infinite number of houses, all randomly scattered around the level. This means that some houses can generate clipped inside each other, or there can be no houses for hundreds of miles, leaving just open field. It is not recommended to go into clipped houses, as one might experience symptoms related to insanity, making them have an extreme feeling of paranoia and anxiety. There are mostly hostile entities in this level. The entities here can be found in large packs, guarding some houses from the inside. Houses usually contain almond water and food supplies one may use to survive. Although most houses are empty from the inside, some may contain a few furniture items scattered around in an non orderly matter, and other may be presented fully furnished. A few houses contain a weak Wi-Fi signal that comes from regular routers. Level 372 presents a day/night cycle. The day is 27 hours long and the night is 14 hours, adding up to 41 hours a day. Entities are usually more active at night excluding Death Wasps.

Colonies and Outposts

The Hunters

The Hunters are the only documented colony in Level 372. They are a group of around 175 hunters. They settle in on sparsely housed fields. They usually wield tribal spears and early rifles found in the late 19th century. They dress like tribesman from that period too. They can be found hunting entities near or far away from their base, whether the entities are guarding houses, attacking wanderers, or even minding their own business. Some of The Hunters can be friendly and offer you a place to rest, almond water, a variety of foods, but they are not willing to trade. Some of them want nothing to do with wanderers, so they just leave them be. If you try to interact with this type of hunter, they will just ignore you. Their leader also wants nothing to do with wanderers.

Entities

Most entities found here are quite hostile, so beware. Entities include Hounds, Death Moths, Death Rats, and rarely Death Wasps and Parasitineths. The common entities can be found guarding houses, primarily houses with supplies in them.

Entrances and Exits

Entrances

  • Entering a house with a grassy field surrounding it in Level 9 will lead you here, though it is very hard to find.
  • Attempting to enter Level 2354 can rarely reroute one to this level.
  • Going into a door labeled "Home" in Level 20 will send either here or to Level 410.

Exits

  • Going into a mysterious hole in one of the houses will drop you down into Level 108.
  • Attempting to dig a hole deep enough in a field will send you to Level 245.
  • Wandering too far in "The Outside" section in Level 58 will gradually lead one into this level.
