Description

Level 383 appears as an abandoned children's playground, appearing to date back to the 90's. The sky on this level is always overcast and a little grey. There is no day or night cycle. Rusted fences surround decrepit playgrounds, generally covered in rust themselves. Abandoned large brick buildings filled with entities dot the landscape. All have grayed out windows, some have broken windows, and in a few rare cases, they have collapsed. DO NOT APPROACH THE COLLAPSED BUILDINGS. You do not know what is still lurking in the rubble. The entire area is overgrown with weeds and grass, with occasional instances of flowers. The flowers have the unique ability of increasing your sanity. In the playgrounds, there are thermoses of hot almond water. The thermoses themselves have the strange anomalous property of boiling all liquids in them, useful for boiling almond water. However, be careful with the liquid in the thermoses, as you can burn yourself. Wanderers of the backrooms have conducted a few human expeditions into the buildings, however nobody has come back alive. Thus, drones were used to gather footage. It was discovered that the floors of the building visible from the outside are gigantic entity hubs. Smaller entities that are preyed upon, such as Facelings, hide in crevices in the walls. Entities that raise young create nests here. The entities that live in the buildings are a limited amount of the non-level exclusive species. Confirmed sightings have been:

Facelings

Hounds

Smilers

Clumps (Only found in specific parts of the basements)

Dullers

Male and less commonly Female Deathmoths

Rarely Windows, in the emptier buildings

Skin-Stealers (Only in the basements)

Transporters, in the basements

Insanities, in certain areas of the basements

Buildings are hives of The Disease, so be especially careful.

Entities will occasionally leave the buildings to roam the playgrounds, but it is a rare occurance.

The most remarkable part of this level are the basements of the buildings. They appear to be an infinite, or at least unfathomable, liminal space. Every floor of the staircase, there is a door that leads to a level. After the loss of several drones, it has been proven that the top door leads to Level 9223372036854775807, and each door down leads to a level that is one level below the last one. It is unknown if the staircase continues after the 10^19(1.84467441)th door, as it is impossible for any expedition, drone or otherwise, to ever reach anywhere near that point, so there is only speculation. The basements count as an infinite amount of separate levels, designated 383.∞ No other entrances to the staircase other than Level 383 have been found, and the Level 383 entrance is not a door, so it is believed that each door is 1-way.
