Description

Level 4'6 is made up of two parts; Eliac Rock and The Open Ocean. The rock is a lone stony mountain rising up from the ground, with a smaller one 30km away from the large one. From the smaller one you can see the larger one rising up in the distance, but as soon as you're in The Open Ocean it goes away. Until Eliakopola (who had a different name in the frontrooms but was renamed Eliakopola by The King of Eliac) arrived, humans just had to row to the big island by using the small boat on the small island. Now, Eliakopola brings a large boat to bring any new humans. Eliakopola was the first human to reach Eliac Rock and stay there, along with Van, her ally. They were the first known humans in the level, although many more had probably been there but were sent somewhere else by The King of Eliac. To reach Eliac Rock humans must navigate The Open Ocean, and if they reach it, they will be greeted by The King of Eliac. Eliac is a small city on the rock, which was initially only inhabited by the peaceful entities on the island. Upon arrival at the island, any visitor must sing a song to The King. If The King likes the performance, you will be allowed to stay in the safety of Eliac. If not, you will be transported to a random level by boat (or to the frontrooms, although this is near-impossible). The M.E.G. consider Level 4'6 to be fully habitable, and it is considered to have no danger risks.

Entities

Human Colonists

Humans have become an important part of Level 4'6. The humans of Eliac Rock have learnt to live in harmony with the entities. Some of the most notable humans in Eliac include:

Van- Pioneer of Eliac. Originally from USA.

Eliakopola- Pioneer of Eliac, Sea Captain of Eliac, and singer. Inferred to be Albanian because of the language in which she sang to The King.

Mehmet Kaya- Turkish athlete who competes for Dinamo Atlantis, widely considered the one of the best footballers in Eliac

Steeve- American rapper and actor, starring in all three films made in Eliac

Jeremy Asiwaju- Nigerian and British athlete who competes for FC Eliac, widely considered the best footballer in Eliac along with Mehmet Kaya

Hyrumians

Circular-shaped humanoid entities, with a build similar to an obese child. Usually work as food and drink vendors- often almond water. Usually stay inside during their free time but do travel in the city for errands. They sometimes run up to humans and beg for food. If the human doesn't give the Hyrumian any food, they will be karate kicked in the crotch if male. Women, or any individual without testicles, will not experience this issue, and the Hyrumian will just walk away. Hyrumians are intelligent, but less so than other entities in this level. Despite the occasional karate kick to the crotch, Hyrumians are largely peaceful and have never caused any serious injuries or death, like all other entities in this level.

Eliacs

The original majority of Eliac before humans arrived. Eliacs are peaceful and look and behave mostly like humans. The features that set Eliacs apart from humans, are their small dot eyes, and lack of ears and a nose. The King and his family, as well as most of his close associates, are Eliacs.

Halfbloods

A total of 8 children have been produced by intermarriage of Eliacs and Humans according to official statistics. They all look mostly like humans but with smaller eyes and noses. These are possibly the only cases of a human and a backrooms entity creating offspring.

Partypoopers

While it’s not known for sure, some minor exploration groups believe that there could be some 100-150 Partypoopers living in Eliac as refugees who escaped near the end of the Fun War. The government of Eliac firmly denies that any Partypoopers live there, but some people believe that this is a cover up and that Eliac is hiding the Partypoopers in fear that Partygoers will find out and create conflict in Eliac.

Various animals

Sheep, cows, fish, seagulls, goats, chickens, and cats all live in Eliac. There is also a unique type of eagle found only in Eliac.

Colonies and Outposts

Eliac

The City of Eliac existed before any humans arrived, and was controlled by the entities, all of whom are non-dangerous. Eliakopola and Van were the first ever humans to arrive to Eliac, and Eliakopola was likely the first ever human in the backrooms to be employed by an entity (excluding The Fun War), after being given the job as The Sea Captain of Eliac by The King. Now there are over 2,000 humans in Eliac, and they make up the slight majority of the city's population. There are many different stores, houses, and farms in Eliac, and the population live comfortably. Eliac is separated into three neighbourhoods; Vanburg (on the top and the far side of the island), Atlantis (on the left coast of the island from the initial point of view), and Port Eliac (near the landing dock). The first known sport teams in The Backrooms, FC Eliac, Reál Eliac, and Dinamo Atlantis, were all founded in Eliac (one in each neighbourhood), and compete in 2 sports; association football (soccer), and basketball. The league's athletes include both Eliacs and humans (and one Hyrumian as well). Many Hyrumians sell almond water in the streets in Eliac- it's mostly safe to drink but bacteria known to cause diarrhoea and mild discomfort is sometimes present, so it's better to get it from an actual store. Electronic devices are useable in Eliac, but there is no connection to the frontrooms internet (except for in The Palace). In most of Eliac, mobile phones can connect to wifi, but the only usable websites are Backrooms News (which gives news from across the backrooms), Quick Score (which gives live score updates and team news for the local sport leagues), Translate (which can translate between over 150 human languages and Eliac) and Film Player (where the three Eliac-made films, as well as homemade YouTube-style videos can be streamed). All offline device functions will still operate. Most entities here speak only Eliac, although they are capable of learning other languages. All humans in Eliac study the Eliac language at least twice a week for an hour at a time.

Entrances and Exits

Entrance

If anyone with a BMI of 30 or more karate kicks a locked door, it will burst open and suck anyone within a 100 metre radius into the doorway. The traveller will always begin on the smaller rock.

Exits

  1. If The King doesn't like a visitor's performance he will ship them off to a different level, or in a near impossible case, the frontrooms. He will load the visitor onto a ship, which will travel the choppy seas through part of the night. At 2 AM exactly, at which point the sky is fully black and nothing at all can be seen, the boat will stop rocking, and when morning comes, the visitor will be in a different level. It is rumoured that the worse someone's performance is, the more dangerous the level they'll be sent to.
  2. The King will grant any human who works in Eliac for at least 10 years (note that no time has actually passed in the real world) freedom to return to the frontrooms after a meeting with a government official which usually takes a couple hours. The voyage is similar to the deportation ship ride, except that the final destination is the frontrooms, not another level.
  3. Any human who works for the Eliac government or Eliac branch of the M.E.G. for at least 5 years has royal permission to return to the frontrooms. Transportation is the same as the other two exits.
