Level 4.6 is a sublevel of Level 4

An office on one of the lower floors.

Description

Level 4.6 has the appearance of an infinitely tall office building, with the flooring being made of a linoleum material. There are also drop ceilings with fluorescent lights that emit the same hum-buzz as the lights in Level O. Faceling 'workers' can be seen typing on computers throughout the floors of the level, who are usually passive and usually will not hurt wanderers. There are elevators that can be used to get to other floors, and break rooms can be found every few floors.

Sometimes, cubicles have unique personal items that the first wanderer finding them would have put in their office if they worked there. The nameplate on the desk will show the wanderer's name and the Faceling working at that particular desk will have a striking similarity to said wanderer, also being hostile towards them. It should also be noted that staying near 'your' desk for long periods of time will give you a stronger and stronger compulsion to work in the office. Eventually, you will give in and start working at said desk, and you will work for days on end until you are forcefully taken away or you die from exhaustion. So staying nearby is not recommended.

An office on Floor 600

The farther you go up in the building, the more dilapidated the offices will be. Also, the higher you go, the more aggressive the facelings will get. The inverse applies to going down in floors, as when you get to the ground floor, it resembles an ultramodern lobby for a high-tech robotics company called 'Arctech Robotics'.

When you go down to the below-ground floors, you will find laboratories with very questionable experiments happening in them. Staying in one of these labs for long periods of time will eventually make you pass out and then wake up as a test subject. These laboratories are ground zero for entity-human hybrid experiments, robotic war machine manufacturing, entity torture research, and many more unethical things. The lab notations can be found here. It is not recommended to stay in one of the labs for too long.

Colonies and Outposts

UMFB Sector Beta

The United Military Forces of the Backrooms have established a base here, on Floor 5, to expand their presence in the backrooms and recruit more wanderers. They have also been trying to clear out the underground labs to stop the inhumane experiments that are happening. The base is set up on Floor 5 to help wanderers prepare to enter Level 5.
