Level 4001 is the 4002th of The Backrooms. As this level was classified as Class 3, someone should expect multiple hazards/dangers posed in the level and few foe beings present.

Description

Level 4001 is pretty rare to access due to small confirmed entrances in it, making it, not that explored; the only simple thing's about the level is known as the ones who got here, don't stay long because about the level is the hotness, a small source of water, and quantities of entities. For more information about the desert, please check below.

The Barren Land

The Barren Land or moreover repeatedly nicknamed as "Lifeless Desert" for being, well interdepartmental or plantless nor even single environmental plantlife is uncovered. The Barren Land holds a representative of a wasteland with unsystematically and intricately flatness of the sands, moreover presenting a chaotic patterns. This locale is furthermore recognized for having/being a non-euclidean temperament, making it proven exceptionally tough to navigate or localization the level.

The level itself can fluctuate with the earnestness or surrounding, this goes on every roughly one week and two days and lasts for virtually one point six-second, the shifting is impressively quick that it ensues in a serpentine non-linear function.

Every known photo, tape, or recording of the level seized by a piece of low-quality to middle-quality equipment ostensibly returns sluggish, or even occasionally just ebony complexion alike The Void but when assumed by high-quality equipment, it behaves flawlessly wonderful.

As a wasteland, the stimulus of water is so impoverished. Only one unrestricted conception of water is understood, which is a tiny pond of water with dust and sand, in very momentous issues, it can have Hydrolitis Plague. So it was very significant to hold up water, food, and other various equipment like firearms for safety before going in to make sure you were healthful/stable while wandering the level as it will be a long journey.

Some summaries of uncovering a broken downed jeep are uncovered, however, it's unverified and soon to be found out after some exploration executed by the M.E.G. that appeared from Level 4000. In most possibilities, you may discover a miserable town, that contains nonentity, nor any furnishings. But it will provide a shelter for some time before the occasion reaches to ratify. Overall, no bodies of humans remain are found. Some theorized that those who perished on the level got consigned to the grave instantly after the known death leaving nonentity.

Entities

You may see a hostile entity wandering through the desert, seemingly very thirsty and hungry, very hungry. There is no friendly entity ever found unless you carry one in the level.

The common hostile entities here are the popular ones like Smilers, Facelings wearing an explorer uniform, and a few more clothes. Few reports of a humanoid shadow are said although it is unsure if true as these reports came from reasonable, experienced, brave, willing, and mastered adventurers of backrooms. As spoken of previously, Hydrolitis Plague can be found. Hydrolitis Plague is found in stagnant water, untreated water, basically found in any bodies of water that this bacterium has required to populate. This bacterium is said to be generally found in pools levels such as Level 37 or Level 37.1. This can also cause of lackness of cholorine.

Events

As with any other desert, there are sand storms. Unlike any normal sandstorms, this one is very powerful that it can destroy 10 big buildings in just 1 minute. Anyone that dared to explore it disappears and seemingly doesn't come back.

The only one successful who got into it and came back is a M.E.G explorer, who gave information about the sandstorm. The speed of the storm is about 199 kph said the explorer. The storm lasts 30 minutes and will occur randomly.

Colonies and Outposts

There are no colonies and outposts created as the level of nature is too dangerous. Only one group has attempted to but failed. The three of them got lost, presumably forever. The remaining others are dead.

Other Information

The Barren Land has a daytime and nighttime progression. When it's the day, the temperature is (30 Degrees Celsius) peaking up to (50 Degrees Celsius) or even higher in rare cases, when it's night, it reaches (-10 Degrees Celsius) to (30 Degrees Celsius), this is also the time, where the spawning of entities is more frequent due to its darkness producing.

The air at this level is quite hot with dust and sand particles within the air. Inhaling too much of it can cause illnesses or sicknesses such as hypersensitivity pneumonitis, sneezing, lung cancer, silicosis, kidney disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, etc... or even in extreme cases, this can lead to death. In other cases, your eye can be blurred or irritated caused by the dusty air, as spoken previously.

After walking for a while, you may see a bone of an unknown entity. It is an almost indestructible, very durable bone verified by scientists and researchers. This bone has various uses, like making it a useful tool like a hammer, etc. One guy made a project which is about making armor out of this bone. It was started and planned on July 9, 2000, and ended successfully on January 28, 2001. After making the armor, it was tested in extreme things. They started hammering it but it doesn't work, they do everything to destroy it but nothing works. They even car crashed into it but still doesn't work. This bone is called Durability Bone said by the one who discovered it first. He/she is also the one who planned/make the project. The man-made durable bone armor is now located in Level 11, exhibited by The National Museum of The Backrooms.

Confirmed Entrances and Exits

Only one known concrete entrance is known at the level for now. To enter, you must find a misty land on Level 4000. Which is going to lead you here. It is believed that further expeditions implemented by the M.E.G will result in finding more concrete entrances.

Currently, one exit is known at the level which is by entering an abandoned house in the abandoned town has a low chance of leading you to Level 4000 or Level 4002 mostly. This is proven by a scientist and researchers. To make sure of it, they even send a group of explorers and it was successful. Sadly, one of them died after being attacked by Facelings.
