Description

level 444 is one of the least explored levels and the 2nd most dangerous level of the backrooms. It looks very similar to level 0, but with a few key differences. It's an even larger level, and it is more dangerous than Level 3 because it has nearly all the Entities in the backrooms. There are a plethora of entities and they are hostile on contact, this level may look like level 0 but its a bit tweaked, like trap rooms, all the rooms with darker wallpaper you should avoid at all cost since some will lead to The End and some will lead to worse places in the backrooms. Also, there are some rooms with burnt flat tile flooring and blood on the wallpaper. Torn carpet can also be found here, note that these parts should be avoided since most of the entities make nests there, it also is known to have dead bodies scattered around, there are also elevators scattered around but all the elevators are traps and as soon as you go in one you get stuck then die in an elevator crash. It also has the late 80s-90s vibe electronics and furnishings like 80s TVs and 90s radios and 90s furniture scattered around in some rooms.

There are lots of unexplored rooms here, but there is one bathroom here with a Mark and a fake exit leading to the Padded Room (A Trap Room.)

Internet Networks

Windows appear every 10 miles but it is advised to always avoid those parts because if you look out for one for over 20 seconds, you will go blind and possibly die.

There are computers every 2700 miles and there are 5 different types of internet that you can connect to.

xxxGOODINTERNETxxx167 This one has a great connection but it is not advised because all the entities will track you down then kill you. Password: backrooms5

att_highspeed165irl This one has a good internet connection but when you connect to it a smiler will hunt you down and then kill you. Password: backrooms7

HTM_INTERNET: This one has a decent internet connection but hounds hunt you down then kill you so it is advised not to use this one either. Password: goodinternetmotels

BACKROOMS_FREE This is the public wifi connection with no passwords, if you use this one in the backrooms you will die by a random clown (The clown is thought to be a mutated version of the Partygoer entity) entity appearing and killing you. Connection is good on this one too.

BAD_DANGEROUS_INTERNETTHEBACKROOMS Don't be fooled by the name, this one is safe, however, the connection on this one is bad and you will not be able to do things like play online games and watch youtube videos above 120p. Password: Unknown

Computer Files

The computer has files that are weird pictures of airports, office buildings, and Smilers (not just those, but many more.) There is also a video of where some unidentified explorer exploring Level 33 and it randomly cuts off.

The only known level more dangerous than this is the infamous [[666|Level 666].

Entrances

To enter, you must No-Clip through a wall in Level 666 or Level 191. Another way is to enter a certain fire exit in Level 0. You could also mine the 7th unstable ore in Level 808 to get transported here. Or starting a wildfire in level 5678.

Exits

The only known way to exit is by a staircase, by going down the staircase you get transported back to Level 0.

Radio Channels

1: BACKROOM2R4. This channel is very odd, all it is is chaotic singing from an unknown source. It is thought to be people who have gone insane.

2: BACKROOMSTALK. An odd podcast on talking about being trapped in the backrooms.

Note that these Radio Channels never end.

Television Channels:

There are all the normal channels you see in real life. There are also backrooms cartoons (DON'T GO ON BACKROOMS CARTOONS YOU WILL INSTANTLY DIE!)

Almond Water Quality

3/10. The Almond Water in this level is kind of strange, some of it is drinkable quality and some of it is not safe for consumption, so it is not recommended to drink anything.

Phones In This Level

This level has 1950's landline phones, however, do not use these. When you use these phones, the calls will be tracked by a signal, and the entities will find you and kill you. If that doesn't happen, the level will decide to use its walls to crush you to death.

Do's And Don'ts

DO'S:

- If you hear an entity near you, slowly back away and get to another room very far away from the entity.

- Stay quiet. This level has entities in the walls, and in the furniture so be as quiet as possible.

- Walk at a slower pace.

DON'TS:

- DO NOT drink any almond water (some is safe some is not but its impossible to know which ones safe and which ones are not safe so it is not recommended)

- DO NOT use phones at this level.

- DO NOT ride the elevators at this level. (they will kill you)

- DO NOT be loud (if you talk in any voice louder than a whisper an entity might hear you.

- DO NOT sit on the furniture, there are entities in the furniture.

- DO NOT go near the security cameras in this level, those are a way for entities to track you.

- DO NOT run, running will make the entities hear your footsteps and find you.

- DO NOT follow the exit signs (they never lead to where you want to go.

Furniture

The furniture here has entities in it. These entities are incapable of moving and are silent, but they can and will kill you if you sit on them.

Exit Signs

The exit signs in this level never lead to any exit, all stairwells that are marked with an exit sign are infinite and will never lead to an exit. Some doors marked with an exit sign just lead to more dangerous and darker parts of this level, or endless hallways where entities appear out of nowhere and you get cornered then die. Some are hallways lead to dead ends, and some lead to The padded room. Some even lead to an outside part of this level. (A weird courtyard with no way out besides to go back in the hall.) Also, all exit signs in this level are red.

The Elevators

They appear to be vintage elevators from the 1920s. They appear to be manually controlled. However, there are some newer-looking elevators from the 2000s or the 2010s. They all are traps and will get you stuck. Then, an entity will appear and kill you or you will die in an elevator crash. You can also lead to deeper, more dangerous parts of this level.

Colonies And Outpost

1: SINGERS AND PODCASTERS: The Singers and Podcasters are a group of 8 people who formed in 1988 and have gone insane in the backrooms, they sing and make the podcast and run the backrooms radio stations, it is still unknown what part of level 444 they are in, most likely a part that nobody but them has explored.

2: 444ers. This is a group of about 170 people (30 killed by entities) who formed in 2007. They are shown to be rude to all other colonies and outposts, however, they have weapons that can kill pretty much every entity. They reside near the entry point.

3: ANDE. Ande is a group of 75 people who formed in 2010. They explore the deepest parts of the backrooms, they have military weapons. These people are very tough and can kill hounds with their bare hands.

4: Outpost Plethora is an outpost made by 7 people who formed at an unknown date, but it is suspected around 2011. They mostly get information and record it down, research the almond water to see if there is any use, and listen to the TV Channels. They teamed up with The Backroom Colonists for supplies and is run by the same 7 people who managed to survive and occasionally, some members from the official group appear from time to time. They are open to trading with any wanderers and are relatively friendly.
