Level 459, also known as “A Regular Park”, is the 460th level of The Backrooms. Level 459 appears to be a near-perfect replica of the main location with the same name from a popular animated cartoon series from Cartoon Network, Regular Show. It’s address was Park AV 300.
Description
Level 459 appears to be a standard American public park, with essentially everything you could possibly find in the real world such as a large field of grass, multiple trees, fountains, bridges, playgrounds, picnic tables, basketball courts, lamp posts, etc. However, despite taking the appearance of a seemingly ordinary park, it was actually inhabited by mysterious entities consisting of anthropomorphic animals and inanimate objects possessing near human-level intelligence. It is constantly being attacked, demolished or even severely damaged by two of the park's inhabitants, Mordecai and Rigby, though it does get completely repaired after a few weeks through mysterious means.
Level 459 features multiple locations throughout the whole park, with the most prominent one being Pops’ House. The size of the park is constantly changing according to the visitors’ reports regarding their experiences with Level 459, ranging from being a small square area within the town to a large valley-like expanse of land complete with forests. It has been stated somewhere that Level 459 shares some connections with Level 363, especially with its employees and staff members. Despite Level 459 having many locations for everyone to explore, there are rarely visitors at the park.
Pops’ House is the primary subsidiary location of Level 459, as it appears to be a three-story, Victorian-style mansion where both Mordecai, Rigby, and Pops reside. The building consists of a living room, an upstairs floor, which has several bedrooms where Pops, Mordecai and Rigby sleep, along with a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom with stalls. It also has an office used by Benson, the management behind the park itself. Pops’ House is located somewhere near a garage where Skips lives in and Muscle Man and Hi Five Ghost’s recreational trailer. There are actually several other locations that you can easily find while exploring Level 459, but these are the frequently encountered ones.
Colonies and Outpost
The Park Employees
- Provides comfort and recreation to all visitors, including free WiFis throughout the park and refreshing Almond Milk drinks from the nearest vending machines.
- This colony consists of 7 people, all of them are entities capable of speech and possessing human-level intelligence. It is assumed they were originally created in the power plants from Level 363 due to their random nature.
- Two of the staff members, Mordecai and Rigby, are particularly infamous for being lazy and irresponsible, as well as being involved with bizarre events throughout the park, such as summoning a monster from an alternate dimension through a Rock-Paper-Scissors game.
- All employees and other staff members must perform a multitude of daily chores according to the timetable from 8 AM to 6 PM, such as groundskeeping and cleaning the park. Failure to meet the criteria will result in getting fired from the job.
- Mostly neutral to everyone they encounter. However, they will turn aggressive if you decide to annoy or threaten them for whatever reason.
- You can join this colony as an intern before getting promoted into a staff member, though in order to be fully employed, you require proper permission from Benson, the park manager.
