Level 476: Old Mall Rendevous
Description
The first ever photo taken of 'Level 476'. The main entry point.
Level 476 has been named by the community as "Old Mall Rendevous". It appears to be an abandoned mall from the 2000s, covered with a moist carpet which is similar to the one in Level 0. The carpet contains carpet fluid, the source of the fluid is still unknown. The mall itself is in a slightly destroyed state, areas of the concrete walls have been smashed off by an unknown source. Bits of sharp concrete lay on the ground in this level by the places where the walls are falling. When a Wanderer spawns at Level 476, they are met by a large room covered in a coarse, grey carpet which peels up at the edges. The room is long, and at the end is a door which os used to enter the rest of the mall. Ocassionally, at times when it is night, the door will take you to a level that is speculated to be Level 6. Other times, you can enter the door and it will take you to the rest of the shopping mall. The actual shopping part of the level is imposssibly large, with the roof stretching infinitely to the ceiling. Do not look at the ceiling for too long, your sanity decreases faster.
When wanderers continue further in the level, they will find themselves surrounded by nostalgic stores. Ones containing merchandise from cancelled tv shows and stores that have shut down all together. The escalators are jammed, and act just as stairs. due to the level stretching infinitely upwards, there are also an infinite amount of escalators. Ascending, a Wanderer will notice the stores becoming more and more destroyed and in shambles with progression. For example, one store present in the level is a store titled "Jay's Jewelery Jackpot" which contains an old jewelery store which has many items scattered on the ground, and containers broken. Paperwork is splayed on the ground as if someone or something knocked it over in a hurry. Chains are ripped and curtains are torn. The curtains showcase scratch marks unnatural of a human person's fingernails, so it is assumed there are entities present. Further research is required.
On the second story, there is a big hole in the ground, it seemingly is being feasted on, as with close inspection, the floor has bite marks. Please avoid the hole, as any near contact dislodges more and more of the hole. It causes a danger to everything in the level. It is advised Wanderers stay clear of the areas where the carpet flakes, as the wood beneath the carpet contains holes that are inconsistent in size. The source of the holes is speculated, but not sound. Wanderers should avoid until the source is located and/or discovered.
If you decide to stay on the ground level, you can explore far enough to find a food joint, containing items valuable in the backrooms. Vending machines in the junction contain bottles of Almond Water. Coins can be discovered on the ground in the main entry point which enables the use of these machines. This is a good area to meet up with other wanderers, and to replenish supplies. You can also discover bandages and weaponery in the old store units present inside the stores.
