Level 4999 is the 5000th level of the Backrooms.
Level Name: "The Journey; the Temple"
Description
Level 4999, the Prophetic Temple, is a Greek-style monastery existing atop a large mountain. The mountain's peak is approximately 3,692 meters in altitude; 12112.86 feet in the Imperial standard. The pathway up the mountain is a spiral path; made primarily out of rock, which you'd commonly see in driveways. This is surrounded by trees. Oddly, the higher altitude doesn't affect temperature; only weather. Due to this, attempts up the Mountain only fail due to miraculous accidents, of which are very common due to the thick nature of the forests and natural disasters hardly ever occurring. At the aforementioned peak, there lies a temple; this temple has one story, although the middle roof goes further than that of the surroundings. The interior also has four pillars; they're in the middle of the Temple. The aforementioned also has a variety of carvings and paintings on its' walls; these vary based on whoever is in the Temple. The common denominator of all of them is the subject's rememberance of these events; although some lack this, due to these events being caused in the future.
Nevertheless, many have not reported future events; and died soon after.

Doctor Johnson: I'm ascending the mountain currently; as of now, I'm at an altitude of about 2,500 meters. Oddly, it's not very cold.
Impresario G (who was overhearing:) If I'm not mistaken, that's a property of this Level?
Researcher Ramon: That's correct, your... grace?
Impresario G: The irony.

Doctor Johnson: I'm at the Temple. It's quite the beauty, with the gold decor all over.
Impresario G: When I visited, there was no gold... No decor, really.
Doctor Johnson: Odd... I walked inside a few seconds ago, and I see... a baby. A baby being held by a-
Doctor Johnson: My... my mother... That means- this is my life?
Doctor Johnson: I see- I see my life. My childhood, my family's no-clipping, my mother deciding to reside in Level 11... I see it all... And, me standing here right now; and right after that... Level 11?
2 weeks and 3 days afterward, Doctor Johnson resigned.
