Level 511 is the 512th level of the Backrooms.

Description

A lobby within level 511.

Level 511 is a walk-in clinic with wooden floors, tile ceiling, and concrete walls. There are lights coming off the wall, illuminating the level throughout. These lights have a tendency to turn off for hours at a time, for no reason. The lights can stay off for 2-12 hours, and do not have a pattern, nor a day and night cycle. The level contains many entities, including patients, receptionists, and nurses. The level also has many mirrors in the lobbies. If you spot one, do not look at one as doing so will spawn a receptionist. This level contains hand sanitizer containers, however, these containers can occasionally hold water in them. This water, however, is not safe to drink. Drinking the water will cause the consumer to die within 5-7 days. It is unknown why the water does this.

The level contains 3 main rooms. These 3 rooms can spawn randomly. The most common are the hallways. The hallways contain chairs, vending machines, and trash cans. The vending machines do not contain anything, and neither do the trash cans. The chairs can contain almond water and Oreos, and very rarely, a strange soil-like substance. The substance is not edible and should not be eaten at all costs. The second room are the lobbies. When noclipping into this level, it is most common to spawn in a lobby. The lobbies contain mirrors, receptionist desks, and pots with a species of plant in them. The plants and appear to not be alive, and they are edible. The final, most rare room, is the exam rooms. The exam rooms can contain scalpels, sinks, which flow drinkable water, and cupboards. The cupboards can contain bandages, Q-tips, and other medical equipment. These rooms are the safest, as no entities spawn in these rooms.

The strangest part of this level is the windows and doors found in the lobbies. They are locked and cannot be broken, however, the windows seem to correlate to the real world, as people have reported to see people walk in from the outside, only to disappear once they walk inside. It is unknown where these windows are linked to.

Entities

The main entities within this level are patients, nurses, and receptionists. It also contains hounds, smilers, and skin-stealers. The patients are the most dangerous of this level as they can drain the sanity of the people who see them. They wear hospital gowns and are hostile. The patients will always resemble a person who has passed away in the viewer's life recently, the faces and body will look identical to the person, and can even mimic the voice of the person. When a person gets close to the patient, they will beat them until death.

The nurse only spawn when the lights are off, and are hostile. They wear a typical nurse outfit, however the bodies are completely black and move by floating around in the hallways. When seen by one, you should flash a flashlight at one (if you have one) as doing so will evaporate them. They kill prey by injecting the victim with a syringe, which contains a deadly substance. The substance is unknown, but can be used against patients to kill them. Any other entity will not be affected by it.

Receptionists spawn when looking at a mirror on the ceiling. Their appearance is unknown. It is said that they kill their prey by stabbing them with the same syringe as the nurses, however this is not confirmed . They call out the name of the victim repeatedly, until the victim responds. Once the victim responds, the receptionist kills them. The way to avoid them is by not responding to their calls. It is also rumored that they are blind, as they only kill once you respond.

There are no known colonies or outposts due to the danger of the level.

  • The only known entrance to this level is by no-clipping behind the vending machines in Level 4.

Exits

  • Finding a party leads you to Level Fun. The Party Is FUN! =)
  • Finding any type of spaceship in the middle of Level 511's hallway and entering it will lead one to Level 1380.
