Level 515 is the 516th level of the Backrooms.

Description
Level 515 resembles a tropical island in a constant state of night. The island is surrounded by a large sea that eventually leads to either Level 7 or Level 970 (going north or south leads to Level 7 while going east or west leads to Level 970). The island itself is finite and is estimated to measure around 212,000 square miles. As of 1/21/22, there has been no sign of any other islands. Rainfall happens frequently on Level 515. During rainfall, run ins with entities becomes more common. The rain is made up of almond water and is safe to drink.
The air on Level 515 is very humid, making the level feel hot and tiring, earning Level 515 the nickname "Hazy Hotel". Do not let your guard down, however, as this may make you an easier target for the Hounds, Clumps, and Deathmoths that tend to reside in the forested areas of Level 515.
The only area of the level mostly unaffected by the humid air is the hotel, a large building located near the center of the level. The hotel is goes up to seven stories tall. There were 300 rooms in the hotel, each one capable of housing at least 2 people.
Rooms in the hotel are minimalistic and oftentimes include nothing more than a bed, a table and chair, and a bathroom. TVs are also present, but usually do not function properly. Thus, working TVs are considered a luxury among residents of Level 515. The hotel has a Wifi network, although connection fluctuates often and is unreliable. Sometimes, food is present in shelves around hotel rooms. This food doesn't restock, however.
Aside from the hotel, Level 515 is covered in large swathes of tropical forest. Hounds and Clumps are an occasional sight in the forest, usually hidden in the vast amounts of foliage. Deathmoths of both genders nest in the forests as well. Otherwise the forests, and by extension the oceans, are mostly vacant.
Colonies and Outposts
Guests of the Hazy Hotel
The Guests of the Hazy Hotel (as they refer to themselves) are a group of 46 wanderers that live in the 1st-3rd floors of the hotel. Due to the fact that food does not restock, they are open to trade for supplies. However, they do not usually accept new members because of limited supplies.
Otherwise, there is not much to note about this group.
Entrances and Exits
Entrances
- Asking the staff on Level 514 to teleport you here will bring you to the coastline of the level.
- Diving into a pool in Level 744 has an exceedingly rare chance to teleport you here.
- Entering a particular hotel in the urban area in Level 278 will lead you to this level
Exits
- Sailing far enough from the island can take you to other levels. Depending on which direction you take, this will lead to either Level 970 or back to Level 7
