Level 525: "The Road to Nowhere"

Level 525 is the 526th level of the Backrooms.

An image of the middle of the road.

Level 525 is a highly unstable strip of asphalt road which extends infinitely. the start of the level will always be in the very middle, in which a streetlight with a functioning phone box that can only call people in the Backrooms will be at. Items often found in suburban highways such as soda cans. The level will always take place during midnight, being very dark. Litter/trash, clothing, etc. will appear along the side of Level 525. Highway signs will also often appear, mostly every 10km or so. These signs always have the label: "The Exit: Just 10 miles away! We know you can do it!", with the bolded "We" always written in what appears to be elk or deer blood. The surrounding area around the strip of road varies and seems to change biomes and even drastically changing temperatures every highway sign. Some biomes, like a biome approx. 300 miles north of the road that resembles Level 6, can resemble Backrooms levels, being the cause this level is very dangerous.

Level 525 seems to have a direct relation to The End, sometimes flickering between "The End" and "The Exit" on the highway signs. An Avid Explorer who caught this happening presumably instantly vanished, yelling a Latin transcript before he vanished that translates to:

"Here not be, hear his [Unintelligible], for the end is near!"

Due to this event, it is advised not to stare at the highway signs for too long.

Entities vary on the biomes, (such as the Level 6 biome, which inhabits the entities of said level.) but often have much too many Smilers in places they shouldn't be and dead Faceling bodies lying around 10m away from the road, just out of distance and can be seen if paying enough attention.

Level 525 is to be avoided, if possible, due to the high risks and dangerous possibilities of things like a Level ! biome or a Level Fear biome. However, if you find yourself in this level, here are some tips to take note of:

  1. Never travel without a light
  2. Always know what direction you are traveling
  3. Take advantage of grassy biomes that could have fruit, or ocean biomes with water.
  4. If you encounter a Backrooms Level biome, try to find where the exit would be in that level.
  5. Finally, and most important...

(The caller seems to trip over, and loud screeching is heard before the audio cuts out.)

  • Consists of a small, ragtag group of "biker gang" like people with a functioning farm and water system
  • Open to trading for metal for food and water.

Entrances and Exits

Entrances

  • Entering a secret metal door in a kitchen room in Level 524.
  • Driving a car straight into a highway sign in the The Frontrooms, (Only transports the content of the car.)

Exits

  • Finding an exit corresponding to the biome of a Backrooms Level.
  • Digging through the floor of any forest biome will lead to Level 2323.
