Description

Level 554 is the 555th level of the backrooms. Level 554 is that of what appears to be an infinite empty modern warehouse with white walls with sometimes copper wiring that goes on forever and complex ventilation shafts going all through the ceiling at all times. There will also be occurrences of giant dark granite pillars that are out of place in the middle of these warehouse areas, but they are a rare occurrence and should be used as easy outpost locations if you are trying to set up one. Although there have been reports of the scattered warehouse doors opening, there appears to be physically no possible way to actually open them, although they appear to be one inch thick. The floor is made up of solid concrete, and the same applies for the walls and celling. It appears that the light sources that scatter the warehouse are an infinite white void. It is theorized that if the windows were ever able to be broken, they can lead to the Whiteout. The temperature can sometimes change depending on the copper wires if you run into one. If it is painted blue, it will be either a steady breeze of 65*F or either rarely a freezing 32*F, although this has only happened if you tried to destroy the walls with anything. If it is painted orange, then it will be 70*F which is the regular temperature for this level. There have only been three reports if a giant metal like entity resembling a horseshoe crab, to be attacking people of multiple outposts by paralyzing them with giant claws, then moving itself over the host to then drain them of their bodily functions and organs, such as blood, tissue, bone marrow, and the brain. It is also said that the creature came out from the vents twice, and once when it was on one of the giant pillars scattered throughout the level. This is currently the only hostile creature other from clickers and self moving copper wires.

Items found on this level

There are very little items scattered along the whole infinite warehouse, these items range from, almond water flasks (mostly containing the almond water), pieces of plywood, copper wire, pallets, giant blocks of concrete and rebar, tortilla chip bags (sometimes expired), raw steak, non-carbonated Ginger ale, mechanical supplies, screws, nails, rusty sheets of metal, hammers, and "Once in a lifetime packaged Firesalt!". Another thing to note, supplies like plywood and nails will be found at the dark granite pillars 75% of the time and food will be found near the doors if you can find them.

Colonies and outposts

There are at least 23 confirmed outposts and 14 colonies, we currently only know 3 of these colonies. The Backrooms Crusaders, a group formed up of people which have most of the supplies from other colonies and is still currently growing, letting anyone who wanders towards their giant outpost. And the Chimmie Changas , a group dedicated to aiding other outposts that have been raided and trading with colonies that are in a close alliance with the Chimmie Changas. There is also The Backroom Colonists, which use this level for storage, of especially weapons, food and medication, and for also temporary sleeping quarters during disasters. They aid other outposts and colonies and are known to trade.

Entrances and exits
