Description

Level 556 is the 557th level of the Backrooms. Level 556 is split into three different sections: Sub-level 1, 2 and 3.Every sub-level has a 33% chance of teleportation.

Sub-Level 1

Sub-level 1 is probably the safest yet most ominous sub-level, having the same effects of Level 0, being that you are under constant paranoia of danger. Rest assured, if you die here, it won't be painful. The sub-level has dark walls, having marks similar to the way PointLights work in video game engines, despite there being no visible light source. This level, as highly unstable as everything is, constantly causes fissures in it's space, presumably due to how close it is to The Void. These fissures can happen onto anything, including Wanderers, meaning a fissure could happen in your throat, and you will no longer be able to breathe. This level contains an entity called A-Bomur that sends anesthesia everywhere, so if a fissure appears anywhere on your body, you won't feel the pain. You will likely die after 15-20 minutes of being in this level. Consider yourself very lucky finding yourself in this level.

Sub-Level 2

Sub-level 2 is the inbetween in safety, having entities inside it, making it many times more dangerous than Sub-level 1, but still many times less dangerous than Sub-level 3. There aren't as much fissures in this sub-level, due to the fact that it is closer to Level ! than The Void, your survival time (not including entities) is about an hour before becoming fully fissured into The Void. Many, many entities reside in this level, being Smilers, the Hound, Clumps, Facelings and rarely Skin-Stealers. In this level, the floor seems to be intertwined, leaving your foot or anything else to get stuck in between. The properties of the "thread" being intertwined are about as equivalent as a sharp blade, so if you don't watch your step, you may no longer have a foot to step with. There are no chemical properties in this level, meaning you are fairly safe from any outside factors than entities.

Sub-Level 3

The most dangerous of the three, Sub-level 3 has infinite entities, with metal curls and very narrow hallways, you'll find yourself dying a lot faster than the given time the fissures give you. The entities are all mainly Danger Level 6, coming from many, many different rooms that should typically be specific to something, due to this sub-level being really, really close to ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■. ■■■ ■■■■■■■■ ■■■■■■■■■ ■■■■■ ■■■■■■■-

Colonies and Outposts

Due to the nature of this level, colonies and outposts are unable to be established.
