Notice: Does anyone know where exactly this entry came from? I cannot find any history about its documentation; it's as if it created itself. The writing is unusual and not that of a normal level's documentation, and I cannot find the original author. If anyone has any information about this page, it would be greatly appreciated. — A

Level 560 is 561st level of the Backrooms, where me and my loving family live. Before, it was classfied as Level Alpha.
Description

LevelAlphaBirdseyeviewA bird's eye view of my town.

Level 560, otherwise known as Summer Blahs, is a happy little town I call home. It's in a constant summer that just drags on and on; it gets so boring around here. Level 560 is safe to live in; there aren't any entities or monsters lurking here, unless you count my ugly neighbor, haha! The level takes place in the current year, that being 1944, in the good ole U.S of A, and has an odd effect that causes everything to look like a photo—kind of freaky, huh? There used to be tons of people hanging around here, but everybody has seemingly vanished recently. I guess they are all staying cool in this hot summer; I can't blame them; the temperatures here can reach 98°! Good thing that's just in Fahrenheit, right? I ain't good with Celsius, but I bet it would be like a million degrees if it were 98° Celsius! The sun's bright beams always makes it feel like I live in a desert. There are tons of homes outside of town too; if you go down the big road that goes through the whole town, there is a dirt road connected to it. That dirt road leads to my dad's old house.

You can find all sorts of homes here; we don't really lock our doors around here; it's a pretty calm neighborhood, y'know? I bet you could just walk right into the homes, though you might get yelled at if you do. There are tons of stores nearby where you can buy everything you need. My mom goes and gets groceries from this one store, which I can never remember the name of. I don't really have much money, but if you happen to have some, you could totally get, like, a lot of ice cream there. The good thing about the town is that it ain't like any of those big, crowded cities. We have all sorts of animals and plenty of greenery around here; if you are lucky, you might get to see a rabbit, an eagle, or maybe even a deer! My dad says the forests around here are "Deciduous", I haven't learned what that is yet, but I think it means the trees lose their leaves in winter.

My home is pretty quaint; my living room has the rocking chair and old TV my dad watches all the time. There are a few rooms: the kitchen, my room, my little sister's room, and my parents room. This is a pretty small house, perfect for our small family. My mother always has lavender in the house; it really stinks up the place, but she seems to like it. My dad used to be a military guy; he fought in the first war. My mom says the lavender is symbolic because it is what she used to keep herself calm while dad was out of the house. My little sister is always crying; it gets pretty annoying sometimes. My dad went to the store to go buy her a teddy bear; hopefully that will calm her down.

All of the water from my town has been tasting super strange lately, it has a weird color and it tastes like almonds, hopefully there is nothing wrong with it. I Haven't seen my friends in a while either, now that school is out I have been pretty lonely, I was so excited for summer break, school work is so boring, but now I am even more bored than ever. For some reason when I call my friends they don't answer, I hope they didn't forget about me already.

Not only can I not find the original author or documentation history, but I outright cannot find a single mention of this level even existing anywhere else; either someone is having a laugh or I am losing it. Even if this is truly just some big joke, I still can't seem to get it out of my head. I have dreams about this level; my thoughts are overtaken by it. I have to know what this is. I am going to be attempting to find this level and travel to it myself in order to properly document it. There is enough information about entry for me to reliably find this level, though it will not be easy. Wish me luck. — A

Entities

No entities here! You have nothing to worry about! The only "entities" you'll be finding are animals that occasionally wander near town, like rabbits, deer, eagles, and all sorts of other critters. I once saw a bat fly right by my head! You should be really careful, though, when wandering far out of town. Bears live around here; my dad saw one wandering out by his old home once. Coyotes tend to wander around out of town too, but they are not nearly as scary as bears. I can hear them howling and barking sometimes whenever they are hunting, and it always makes the dogs really angry when they hear them, or maybe excited. I don't know; I can't really speak dog language.

I have finally reached the aforementioned level and have been exploring it to its furthest extents. It is by far the most unusual level I have been to, not for its contents but for the effects it has on my mind. I cannot describe the feelings I get from being here; it is consuming me. I know it is a common occurrence to think you have been in a level before; anemoia is strong within the backrooms, but I cannot shake the feeling that I have seen this all before. Strangely, any edits I attempt to make on this level's document are different when I come back to see them later, though I could swear on my life that I had written them this way, even if that logically does not make any sense. This level just feels... off... — A

Colonies and Outposts

Tons of people tend to move here from all sorts of places; it's a pretty nice neighborhood, and you never know who you will see next. My neighbors tend not to like new people so much; I don't understand why. Maybe they just doesn't like change. The people who live in the town are pretty friendly most of the time. We all like to help each other out, so if you ever need some help, just ask! There is sure to be somebody to lend a helping hand with whatever you need.

Nothing makes sense anymore; time does not act appropriately here; I feel like I have been here for years already; this place feels artificial; nothing seems real; and I feel as if I am being constantly monitored. I see things in the corner of my eye: "people." They don't look quite right: elongated limbs, unnatural white eyes, skin entirely missing, though details are vague; none of them ever look identical, and I cannot remember them well, and by the time I notice them, they disappear behind something. I hope this is merely an undocumented entity; otherwise, I believe my sanity is beginning to take a toll. — A

An email had been sent to a M.E.G. operative, simply titled "Do not come looking for me", the M.E.G. operative that had sent it, who goes by the moniker "A", had sent it supposedly as a last ditch effort to avoid anyone attempting to enter this level. This email, and the level in question, are still being looked into, as for now it is advised that no one seeks out Level 560', as this could prove highly dangerous.

"Do not come looking for me"

This place, nothing makes any sense here, those creatures I see watching me grow in numbers by the day, I am tired and at the end of my fucking wit. This level, it's alive, it thinks, it breaths, it talks, it is aware of you and it is aware that it is isolated, and it is desperate for company. I don't know what those creatures are, I do not know what this level, or possibly entity, is, I do not know how the hell it's capable of infecting some one's mind at a whim, all I know, is I am tired, I'm paranoid, I'm lost, and there is no escape for me. It keeps me here, I cant leave, not with any physical barrier but a barrier within my own mind, I am trapped in a hell of my own making. I pray to god that you read this, you need to tell everyone, this place must not be traveled too no matter what, I don't care what your reasons are to enter this place, stay the hell away. It manipulates you, pulls the strings of your mind to convince you to enter this place, if you even feel the smallest desire to know more about this level, then god have mercy on your soul.

I wish I would have listened to my apprehensions before, feeling as if someone was watching me, how little I knew. Every single time I turn around there is something staring at me from a distance, those humanoid things, whatever the hell they are, they watch me constantly now, sometimes even forgoing attempting to hide themselves, I don't know what they plan to do to me, but I don't think I am going to be here for much longer, I feel the days shortening, the days of this endless, dreary summer.

Why the hell won't this fucking summer just end.
