Level 562 is an extremely tall stairwell, seemingly infinitely long, however on each floor on 562 seems to be a door labeled with numbers seemingly reaching infinitely up and down the level is extremely dangerous to enter as level 562’s entrance sits in level 6, one of the most dangerous levels in the backrooms, but is extremely rewarding as it leads to 50 other levels (possibly more) most being hard to get to levels, level 562 also seems to change appearances the further down or up you go, the midfloors (-100 to 200) appear to be a newly furnished hotel stairwell and are safe to travel, the low floors (-1000 to -101) appear to be a elementary school stairwell and have passive entities traveling up the stairs, the high floors (201 to 1000) appear to be a middle school emergency escape stairwell with every other level having an exit door leading to randomly selected levels, they also have passive entities that appear to be school students, any other levels within level 562 are undocumented and most likely unexplored. Level 562 got its name because all posters within level 562 have the name “Theordoor” written at the top along with the date the poster was drawn.
Level 562 also includes a wide variety of objects ranging from animal hides to wheelchairs, the most common ones being missing posters, medical supplies (typically from the early 2000s), school supplies, pictures of level 562’s entities, almond water, and mp3 players. M.E.G also speculates that different areas of the level may have different common items within them.
Occasionally some floors within level 562 will have hand drawn pictures of entities from other levels, and most have a text on them such as “Mom!” or “Uncle Benny is late tonight”. M.E.G has been collecting these pictures for study.
Within the low floors and high floors entities can be spotted. These entities appear to be school children, they are usually slightly taller and thinner then actual human children giving them a slightly discomforting look, they also do not possess faces and do not talk whatsoever. These entities are passive and do not attack even when attacked.
Sometimes crying and Nursery rhymes can be heard within Level 562, these sounds appear to be coming from outside the stairwell, theorized to be within classrooms or hotel rooms witnesses described, if you are to attempt to speak to these cries or talk to the nursery rhymes you will be told to “Please remain quiet while taking the assessment!” or other school related comments. M.E.G theorizes that this is actually the outside world as M.E.G personnel were able to have full conversations with the people outside.
