A densly populated section of Level 563

Level 563, also known as "Level Worm" is a seemingly endless series of corridors which are completely overrun by all manner of Wall Worms. What this Level's original purpose was has long since been forgotten, though some evidence points towards it having served as a futuristic superstructure once inhabited by the M.E.G..

Description

Despite futuristic technology occasionally being found, power has been lost through a majority of this level, making finding such objects nearly impossible in the abject darkness. The corridors of level 563 are noticeably large, and measure on average 30 feet in width and 60 ft in height, with light sources being placed on the ceiling approximately every 15 ft, though a majority of these are no longer functional.

Wall Worms of all sorts will litter the walls, floors, and ceiling of this level, constantly slithering and burrowing through the level as they feed. Despite being perpetually consumed by these worms, the level is never completely destroyed, though how this occurs remains unknown.

Artifacts

Futuristic technology is rumored to have been found on this Level, though due to the state of Infestation, almost all of these artifacts have either been consumed by the mass of worms, or have become impossible to reach due to the vast quantities of Wall Worms blocking the path. Despite this, some artifacts have been documented, including:

A Gyroscope shaped mechanism at the center of a 60ft³ chamber that will continually rotate to project holographic blueprints and schematics of randomly generated structures that greatly resemble certain areas of the backrooms. Some believe this to be a map of the Backrooms, while others believe its purpose to be far more tragic.

A large mechanism that resembles a pair of Cymbals, similar to those found in drum sets. It is believed 30 ft tall device absorbs all sound for a 25 km radius while in its Passive State. When sent into an Active State, the Silence Cymbals will clap together and release all the sound they had been storing at once. If enough sound has been absorbed, this can result in a sonic boom of sound which kills any living beings within its range of effect. It is believed that for decades groups like the M.E.G. and the Colony of Dimkart have made numerous attempts to retrieve this artifact from Level 563; all attempts have ended in failure.

Entities

The entirety of Level 563 is inhabited by Wall Worms.

While a majority of these worms generally ignore the presence of Wanderers, the sheer quantity of these entities can pose a serious threat, as the risk of getting separated from your group by the bodies of these worms is fairly high. One must also be careful to not end up getting tangled or smothered by the undulating masses of Wall Worms, which will clump together and roll over entire groups of Wanderers in seconds, crushing them to death.

On several occasions, Wanderers have reported witnessing Sixarms burrow holes through the walls and ceiling of Level 563 and chase down a nearby Wall Worm. On these occasions, the Sixarms will proceeded to impale the closest Wall Worm with its insectoid arms before running back through the hole from which it emerged and disappearing from sight as the rupture closed by unknown means. This has led some to believe that Sixarms naturally prey upon Wall Worms, though this remains unconfirmed.

> Addendum I

Given more recent studies and observations, it is now held that Sixarms have either evolved or at least adapted to feed upon the Wall Worms which reside in Level 563. Sixarms found on Level 563 can quickly disable most variants of Wall Worm by piercing them through the skin and striking directly at their engine cores. Due to this ability, Sixarms are currently being considered for their potential to prevent Wall Worm infestations on other levels, though so far they have proven incapable of being trained.
