Level 56 is the 1000th level of the Backrooms.
Description
Level resembles an overgrown, ruined prison, populated with numerous empty cellblocks, guardrooms, and food halls. The presence and psychic influence of the Primary Threat Entity (i.e. "The Verdant King", i.e. "Cra' Lathul", aka "Fucknugget") has manifested in the level as unnatural floral growths on surfaces. No expeditions are to be launched into Level 56 without a majority vote from the Committee; additionally, all known entrances to and exits from the level are to have outposts constructed near them so they can be heavily guarded.
Entities
Although there are no entities naturally originating on this level, a great many reside here due to the Primary Threat Entity's effect on all forms of entity. The Primary Threat Entity is currently trapped through unknown means on Level 56 and should not be released under any circumstances. Any entity or wanderer within a certain radius of the Primary Threat Entity will begin to revere it as a godlike being, with this effect being presumably irreversible. Affected individuals will have growths begin to form on their skin, these may take the shape of new appendages or limbs but usually resemble plants or flowers growing out of the victims skin.
Colonies and Outposts
No known colonies or outposts exist in Level 56 due to the nature of the Primary Threat Entity.
Entrances and Exits
For public safety, no information pertaining to the entering of Level 56 is to be disclosed. If you find yourself in Level 56 then it is strongly advised to follow the buzzing sound and stay away from the music.

Samantha was known as Sam to her friends and as Deacon Torwin to her newly found congregation. They were a varied lot due to their god being able to enlighten all but the most stubborn of wanderers and creatures. The Deacon felt momentary sympathy for those hard-hearted fools but it was soon replaced by love for her King for being able to convert beings seen as lesser by the more closed-minded Backrooms groups. She went over her speech in her head, fleshing out the points and adding in proclamations as she walked over to the converted chapel.
The walls of the corridors she was striding purposely through were permeated with fungal growths, vines and flora of all different types. The strange spiralling flowers sprouting out of the walls looked at her and she smiled at them. The network of mycelium filaments that spread through anything the Verdant King touched was buzzing with activity. It carried information and allowed communication between enlightened beings in levels under their god's care. They called it the Network and it thrummed with the excitement of a thousand creatures who's minds had been opened to heaven.
The deacon finally reached the church they had all built together and stepped up onto the stage, her bright eyes scanning the crowd of expectant faces. Each member of the Children of The Verdant One was utterly unique, with every species of the backrooms present and all sporting blessings from their King. These took the form of a crown of leaves growing out of a wanderers scalp, purple blossom flowering across the back of a hound and the skin of a party goer starting to resemble tree bark. As Deacon Torwin surveyed her audience, her heart swelled with pride. She knew her place in this world and it was here, in front of the gathering of the faithful. She smiled, took a deep breath, and began.
