Description

the first picture taken from level 571 by the M.E.G., was edited lighter afterwards by the M.E.G. because nothing was recognized

Level 571 is a random arrangement of bathrooms and their furnitures. Features of this level are the cold tile walls decorated with words or colors depending on the room. All rooms are dark, although there are light switches in most rooms. However, these do not turn on the lights, but produce siren-like sounds. These sounds can trigger panic attacks and severe headaches. All types of lights are switched off here except for light produced by living organisms (bioluminescence). This level was discovered by the Major Explorer Group (M.E.G.) in 2008. Then five years later in 2013, the Neutral Information Service (N.I.S.) established an outpost that they needed to conduct research at that level. According to the N.I.S., there are 342 known rooms in this level, most of these rooms are equipped with normal bathroom furniture. In room 258 there is a wooden door that, according to N.I.S., will take you to Level 941. In room 17 there is also an exit, which according to the information of a wanderer who goes by the name of Niseria, leads you to Level 5.7 through a bathroom cabinet with iron bars on the sides. About the sinks, do not drink the liquid from them. This liquid is deadly and if you drink it, it will destroy your nerfs and then let your body rot. The native Facelings call this liquid "nerf killer". The N.I.S. found out that this is a modified version of Liquid Pain, which flows from an unknown place into the water pipes of the sinks. The only water supply is puddles under toilet brush holders, but these are rare and full of deadly bacteria.

If you leave this level in any way, you keep everything you have collected here.

Entities

The only entities that live here are Facelings that are mostly friendly. All facelings appear to be blind in this level and can only locate you using sound. If you are ever being chased by aggresive Facelings make sure you make extra sounds like throwing stuff around the place. This will lead them to the wrong location and that allows you to sneak away. There is a myth that in the darkness lurk Smilers whose face is turned 180° to devour wanderers who stay too long alone in the darkness. At least that's what frightened facelings said, who, as it turned out, had been living in hiding for 3 months until they were found.

Colonies and Outposts

There are two colonies and outposts known in Level 571.

The Dark Figures

These Facelings have chosen to live alone in the dark. Since they were already living here when this level was discovered, their eyes must have gotten used to the darkness. They are generally friendly to all wanderers who visit them. In the meantime, one wanderer has already joined this colony. In 2008 the population was 10 and in 2020 they are 23 members in this colony.

Dark Neutrality

This group from the Neutral Information Service (N.I.S.) is there to explore this level, to make the liquid from the taps drinkable and to look for possible entrances and exits. They are neural to wanderers and have around 54 members. They also trade with the facelings that are native to that level.
