Level 575 is the 576th level of the Backrooms.
Contents
Description
Level 575 is a large forest comprised of trees that are densely packed together, as well as grass that takes up the ground. The vegetation in Level 575 is yellow as well as poisonous to eat and the sky is a brighter yellow then that of the leaves and grass. Puddles of almond water can be seen from time to time, but these puddles vary from being safe to drink to being toxic enough to melt skin so its advised to not drink any of the puddles.
Going further into the forest, wind picks up, and at a set distance of 50 miles, the wind gets to speeds of 80 miles per hour and the puddles of almond water become more frequent and are more frequently toxic. If one changes direction every so often while traveling through the forest, they will eventually reach a rusted chain link fence which seemed to be there for years. When one reaches this fence, any wind speeds that picked up miraculously dies down, and any danger from the forest goes away. Keeping close to the fence while walking through the forest will cause the fence to break off, and the wind speeds will pick back up. Going around the broken off fence does nothing. Going over the fence and then walking forward for roughly a mile will bring you to Level 311, and in rare cases, the fence will have a busted open hole that can be gone through, and once through, you walk for roughly a mile and you will eventually reach Level 683.
Pictures or video of the forest or its inhabitants destroys the device by a loud explosion, it is recommended to draw or paint the environment.
It is advised to have food and water at hand as Level 575 does not have reliable sources of such.
Colonies and Outposts
Due to how big the forest is, how catastrophic the winds can be, and how dangerous the entities are, There are no colonies or outposts in this level.
Entities
The only entities in this forest are called "Death wasps" or Entity 575.
The first Death Wasp drawing from a survivor
Death Wasps are yellow, humanoid-like wasps that have long claws, and wings that patrol around the forest. These wasps hunt by themselves throughout the forest and detect anything that makes a loud enough noise. Being close or in hitting distance to any one of these things is almost a guaranteed death as self-defense is impossible due to its claws and size, and out running it is also impossible as its wings make it mobile enough to catch you.
The best way to avoid these wasps is to hide and not make much noise. The way of knowing if you are near one is if you hear this anxiety inducing buzzing. Anything loud enough like a scream will bring a Wasp to your location even if you don't see one. Sleeping is also impossible because the wasps patrol the forest and will stumble upon you regardless of time and trying to replenish yourself with food or water if one is near you will catch its senses and they will devour you.
