Backrooms Wiki

Author's Notice: This was made because of a poll that I made a while back. I'm sorry for not creating the level earlier, I just didn't have a good idea. This was also originally a class 5, but I wanted to change it to a variable after I got my idea.

Level 583 is the 584th level of the backrooms.

Survival Difficulty: Class Variable
》Varying Safety
》Heavily Unstable
》Diverse Entity Count

Description

Level 583 is an infinite ocean made of saltwater. The sky is usually pure blue, stars can be seen at night, and the moon is always full. This level can have islands rarely. This level is comprised of multiple different areas. This level can sometimes be cold, which will result in glaciers. This level has a day-night cycle of 48 hours (24 hours of day and 24 hours of night). If you enter this level, you will be immune to drowning. The areas will be explained below.

Areas

The Sky

The sky is the first area of Level 583.

C4Icon.png

Survival Difficulty: Class 4
》Unsafe
》Unsecure
》High Entity Count

Description

A picture of the sky of Level 583 during a sunset.

The sky is usually pure blue, though it can be yellow, red, or even green, though wanderers probably shouldn't be in this level if the sky is green, as a tornado will happen. The sky can have clouds, though it mainly is just the sun, and sometimes the stars and the moon. Death moths will be flying in the sky, and they are (usually) extremely aggressive. The death moths in this level will attack anything that moves. The sky has barely any pollution in it, and a wanderer will be able to see every star perfectly. The sky is beautiful.

Colonies and Outposts

How would there even be colonies or outposts in the sky?

Entities

Death moths will attack anything that moves.

Entrances and Exits

You can't enter or exit the sky. It's literally above the level.

Shallow Water

The shallow water is the 2nd area of Level 583.

C1Icon.png

Survival Difficulty: Class 1
》Safe
》Secure
》Minimal Dangerous Entity Count

Description

The shallow water is a large, but finite coral reef. This reef is impervious to all damage. The coral can be any type and color, though there are some unusual colors such as:

  • Grey
  • White
  • Black
  • Brown
  • Rainbow
  • Reflective

The shallow water has a large assortment of entities that look like small fish, eels, sharks, and invertebrates. The shallow water can have small patches where there is no coral, and if a wanderer digs into the sand there, you will get teleported to Level 4000. This area is easily accessible, as it is the spawn for this level. This area can be terrifying for some, but so can every area.
