Description

Level 5999 is an infinite ocean with a series of small islands. The water is drinkable, and every island consists of at least 12 houses, as well as a series of restaurants, stores, and entrances to other safe levels. Upon entering this level, you will find yourself on an island in front of a house that has not yet been claimed. If all 12 houses are claimed on one island, wanderers won't end up on said island, but they can travel to others. This level also has a day/night cycle and weather such as rain and snow.

Houses

The house you end up in front of will be your new house. Open the mailbox and you'll find a letter welcoming you to your new house. The house starts out small, but can be upgraded by putting money in an envelope and in your mailbox. If you put in enough money, the house will become bigger in a flash of light. The amount of money needed to upgrade your house will be in the letter you receive upon first opening your mailbox, and the amount will decrease as you send money in until the house upgrades and the number resets.

Restaurants

The Restaurants are a popular way to get money. The most popular restaurants are Pizza Places, but there are also many others. After working for a day, a paycheck will appear in your pocket. To cash out, put it in your mailbox and close the door for one second, then open it. How much money you earned will appear in the mailbox upon re-opening.

Sometimes Entities and Wanderers come to order some food from the restaurants. Examples of the entities that can appear on this level are Facelings, Glowfolk, and sometimes entities that are usually hostile in ordinary levels such as Partygoers and Smilers. There have also been some reports of Partypoopers ordering food from the Pizza Places.

Night Clubs

What'd you expect? There are Glowfolk on this level!

Night Clubs are areas that is run by the Glowfolks on Level 5999. This level has many similarities to Level -150, except it isn't infinite. Food and Neon Water can be found here frequently, not to mention the many Glowfolk that inhabit this area and try their best to help any wanderers or entities that may be confused after appearing on this level.

Hotels

Hotels are an alternate way of living on Level 5999 if you don't want to live in a house, however, you will not spawn in a hotel room upon entering this level. These hotels are mostly inhabited by entities on Level 5999 and they are one of the first places you should go if you are confused or need help with doing something on this level.

Colonies and Outposts

Neonifiers

  • Friendly and open to everyone, willing to trade.

The Hotel Staff

  • The Hotel Staff in every hotel on every Island.
  • Friendly and open to wanderers and entities.
  • Their bosses are: A Wanderer that founded the group, a Red Glowfolk, and a Sanctuary Guardian.

Entrances

  • Walk to the other side of Level 3999 and you'll find an exit to here.
  • Board a Flight called "True Island" on Level 36 and you'll inevitably fall asleep only to wake up in a bed here, however this entrance is extremely rare and only appears for 5 minutes.
  • Run "TRUEISLAND.EXE" on The End's computer and you'll find yourself here.
  • If you go to the very bottom of a lake in The Barrier, you'll find yourself in the ocean right next to an island.

Exits

  • Go into an arcade to get to Level 3999.
  • Swimming far enough in the water may lead to The Promised Land, however this is unconfirmed and takes at least 2 weeks, not to mention you MUST swim or it will not work.
  • Taking a boat far enough in the water will lead to the edge. Don't go any further, or you'll fall into The Void.
  • Did you attempt to glitch out and duplicate your money? Come on, nobody likes a cheater. You brought this onto yourself.
  • Saying you want to go back to your friends will lead you to the level they are on. This will lead to the Frontrooms if you made no friends in the Backrooms.

As always, feel free to rewrite or change some things if you don't like how it was written or feel it was "badly made", but don't try to change the entire thing. - AA <3
