Level 601 - "Noctiphany"
Level 601's first area takes appearance of a small home office room. Level 601 is always at night time, a daylight cycle nowhere to be seen in the entire Level.
The Beggining
The initial section of Level 601's sub-layers, and likely, the safest one. That doesn't mean you're completely safe.
Sub-Layer 1
An image taken of Level 601 by a wanderer.
Level 601 on first sight is a small home office room at night, with nearly the same size of an average household bathroom. A window is in the front wall of the room, a wooden desk in front of it, with a laptop and other office materials. The office chair emits no sound when a person is to sit on it, later discovered it's made out of an unknown substance, posing no threat anyways. There's also a door at the end of the room, and you'll always enter in this room through it upon any attempt of noclipping through the walls.
The floor is made with wooden tiles, and the walls are pastel yellow concrete. There's some paintings on the walls, and they change every time you are not directly looking at them. Rarely these paintings will show a zoomed-in human eye, which won't disappear until you leave this sub-level.
Your only option when noclipping into this sub-layer is to just sit down and wait, since there's no early exit from this room. Trying to use anything on the laptop will cause the screen to go black, and a footage of a surveillance camera on Level 0, recording a section of the hallways, will appear on screen. Nothing happens on the recording, except for a shadow slightly appearing at 34:43.
If the window suddenly display dawn time, instead of night time, immediately hide under the table, and do not answer to any sounds or knocking on the door. If you do not hide under the table, and you see, very far away from the windows, a purple shadow-like human walking down the fields in direction of the house, open the door (it's able to be opened during this event) and follow these procedures:
- Take the hallway to the left;
- Ignore the phone call;
- Take the right;
- Take the emergency stairs;
- Noclip trough the pink wall;
- Wait until you find yourself in Level 0.
This is an uncommon occurrence, so worrying about it on your stay at Sub-layer 1 is unnecessary.
Upon waiting 5 hours in this level, the door will slowly open, leading you to Sub-layer 2.
Not going trough the door in under 1 hour will lead to it closing, and you will fall trough the floor, landing on the cold streets of Level 9. It is safer to go trough the door, for that reason.
Entrances & Exits
Entrances
- Get teleported here, with a small chance, after falling trough the floor;
- Being in a room in Level 4, and the lights suddenly go off in your room;
Exits
- To be seen below.
Sub-Layer 2
Sub-Layer 2 is the second sub-layer of this Level. It resembles a Super-Market at night. It contains 2 entities, and 1 currently unconfirmed.
It possesses the same size of an average supermarket/grocery store, and most of the time, lights are all out except for refrigerator lights. All attempts to grab food will lead to your hand phasing trough the object. The only working supplies are Cheese, Bottles of water filled with almond water, Ketchup, Chocolate cookies and Milk. It is also important to know that products do not re-supply while you are present in Sub-Layer 2, so do not use all of them at once, travelers are expected to stay in Sub-Layer 2 for 2 days.
Sounds resembling shopping carts being pushed, children begging for their mom for candy and crying, rain and sirens will be heard occasionally. Attempts to noclip into the walls in this sub-layer will lead to walking on them, or with a minimal chance, going back to Sub-Layer 1.
While in this sub-layer, you may rarely see a pitch black goo-like humanoid entity, wearing casual clothes, lurking around the market. Travelers name him "The Customer". He will do no harm to you, even if you display hostile behaviour towards him. However, if you attempt to grab food while he's making his appearance, he will rush with a speed of astonishing 20km/s at your direction and compete for the supplies, and most of the time, The Customer wins.
An image took from an video of a camera that was left over on the floor of Sub-Layer 2, recording almost trespassing 2 Gigabytes. Fate of the wanderer remains unknown.
The second entity is popularly named tSALE! Buy now our fresh carrots for only 1 DOLLAR EACH! I REPEAT 1 DOLLAR EACH! And we also offer the brand new LIQUID BANANAS for 2 PHONE CHARGERS! DON'T LOSE THIS OPPORTUNITY! and they will never be coherent. After that, it is recommendable to maintain distance from the entity.
After 2 days, lights will go back on, and the market will start playing elevator-ish music. Then, going trough the exit of the market will lead to Sub-Layer 3. What happens if you stay in this level after the exit event is unknown.
Sub-Layer 3
6Sub-Layer 3 is the third Sub-Layer of Level 601. It resembles a garden, at night. This is the first Sub-Layer where an exit is available. It currently has 1 entity, and 2 unconfirmed.
It possesses the appearance of an average American backyard garden. Upon inspection, it is bordered with wooden fences across the perimeter. There is also no artificial source of light other than the moonlight. When exploring the garden, you will find a small shack. In which there is a ladder. The garden is lined with plants, such as carrots, tomatoes, eggplants, soybeans and cucumbers. The soil is most of the time damp and wet. attempting to touch the plants will result in your hand no-clipping through them. The only edible plant is the cucumbers, which upon contact is safe to eat.
After the first 10 minutes upon entering the sub-layer, a woman dressed in a wedding gown will appear out of the shack. The entity is very kind and will not pose any harm or threat. When having a discussion with the entity, ask it to guide you to the exit. The woman will then lead you to a white door. Which you can then exit the sub-layer and into Level 0.
If one refuses the exit or just does not mention it while talking, the woman will gently say goodbye and go back to the shack. Then, the level will slowly become daytime, and the white door will appear, but this time it's slightly more dirty, with scratches and some parts where it wasn't painted, exposing the wood. Going through will lead to Sub-Layer 4
Sub-Layer 3 is the final sub-layer of the beginning. Things only go downhill from here.
Downhill
This is where things, really, start getting slightly more dangerous. It only gets more dangerous from here.
Recommended to bring a good amount of almond water.
Sub-Layer 4
The sub-layer resembles a demented train station, at night.
The walls are oxidized with bits of copper scattered on the platform, the benches have poorly made makeshift wood and is rusted. The air stinks of rot and garbage, as you step on broken shrapnel. There is little light other than the bulbs that dangles from the ceiling with wire jabbing out.
Sometimes, a strange, white tall entity will be seen slowly walking around the train tunnels. It is recommended to find a hiding spot when it makes its appearance. In case the entity stares directly into your face, your vision will black out, and you will re-appear in Level 6. Unknown but true fact, is that if you maintain your face hidden at all times, you can actually start a conversation with said entity. They display a high pitched voice, and apparently really loves Legos. It is unknown where does this entity come in contact with Lego toys. It is also theorized this entity is not native from this level, and was placed here to avoid exploring trough the tunnels.
After 2 days, entities like skin-stealers and hounds have a 5% chance of appearing. They, however, are weak and can be killed with a crowbar hit on their head.
