Level 604 is the 605th level of the Backrooms.
Description
Level 604 or, "The Hike" is a seemingly unending dirt path surrounded by trees and foliage similar to that of a temperate rainforest. The weather is sporadic and changes between sun, rain, and, snow frequently. The temperature changes in tandem with the weather; the highest recorded temperature is 121 Fahrenheit (49.6 °C) and the lowest is -74 Fahrenheit (−58.9 °C). However, these extremes are rarely met as this level usually stays between 70-32 Fahrenheit.
The trees surrounding the dirt path are not dense, allowing for Wanderers to go off the path. Off-path, it is possible to forage mushrooms and berries that are unreachable from the path itself. Straying further than eyeshot from the path causes an increasing disorienting effect that does not fade until the path is visible again. The disorientation is combatable with willpower. Beyond this area of disorientation, a range of impassable shallow caves are often found. Within most of these caves are what appear to be mutated bears. These are called URSA. There is little information about URSA as not many have the willpower to cross the disorienting area. A small number of caves are a façade and within these caves are various doors. Through the door, the disorientation dissipates entirely. These rooms include generic cubicles and non-functional computer systems.
Aside from the URSA, other entities are present in Level 604. High in the trees, there are tiny bird like creatures called Rrombuli. A single Rrombulon poses no threat, but Rrombuli fly in packs during hunting where they are able to swarm and terminate other entities via blunt force damage from their stiff beaks. A thick layer of clothing or padding will be able to defend against Rrombuli. Other than URSA and Rrombuli, life common in temperate rainforests are present such as squirrels and some species of large feline.

Entrances
There is 1 discovered entrance to Level 604. Sleeping in a room with the scent of cedar wood present will cause you to dream of Level 604. When you awake, you will have been transported there.
Exits
The only known exit of Level 604 is in the rooms with the cubicles. Some cubicles have been recorded to have no computer system, and instead a bed. Sleeping in one of these beds will place you back in the location that you entered from once you awake.
