Level 605 “The Donut Shop”

Rather blurry picture of this level. Recovered on a seat.

Level 605 is a donut shop that also sells coffee, breakfast, lunch/dinner and various cafe items. The setting is warm, safe and inviting. Upon entering, you will be in a small town with various buildings that is devoid of any life aside from the sound of cars passing despite there being no cars. Attempting to go onto the parking lot or the grass will result in a force taking you back to the storefront. Wanderers can easily be found due to its finite length and simple layout.

Wanderers are free to wander on across the storefront sidewalk, but nowhere else. The donut shop itself will have a mansard roof and will have a 1950s design to it, entering the storefront will result in a sense of security, with the smell of fresh donuts overwhelming the wanderer, it will likely result in an irresistible urge to get a donut. The length is the same as your typical American donut shop, but it’s infinite in width from the inside despite it looking small from the outside.

Box of donuts in this level.

The windows will showcase a view of a small town, when you wander about a mile, the small town will end and it will be replaced with farmland. The small town will loop every 15 miles. Entrances can be found every 1 mile, ordering areas can also be found every 1 mile. These entrance doors can be opened from the inside, but if you go outside you will teleport back to where you started. The floors are an orange and yellow tile and the ordering areas will be wood paneled. The walls will have partial wood paneling. The ones facing the small town will be almost entirely windowed with the exception of a small section with brick. The lighting will florescent. All the seating will have a black fabric and a dark wood table to accompany it. There is a day/night cycle on this level that is exactly the same as baseline reality, although the building is open 24/7, so the lights will remain on.

There are several different donuts, and each ordering area will offer a full stock of them. The only way to safely receive the items is to order them from a native entity. The donuts will be very high quality and can easily make a wanderer addicted. The effects of these donuts are similar to that of a drug, they will make wanderers feel happy and high. But then the wanderer will feel a low and receive a craving for more. Due to these donuts being extremely addictive, it is recommended to resist the urge to order one. Attempting to to steal a item will result in the native entity grabbing you, then pushing you out of the establishment through the parking lot. Which will always take you to The padded room. So it is not recommended to steal items, it is advised to order them and have the entity give them to you. Attempting to enter a staff only area will result in the same fate.

All Drinks will pose different effects. Learn more about the effects below.

Chocolate Milk will result in symptoms similar to the donuts, you will likely become addicted. Milk will have no effect. Almond water will result in the same effect as almond water in the rest of the backrooms. Coffee will result have the same effect as coffee in baseline reality, it will have you receive a kick of energy. Tea will result in a sense of comfort and warmth, but also a bit of energy. Soda will result in mild stomach pain. The Energy drinks found in those drink refrigerators will result in immediate death of cardiac arrest.

Typical non dessert Foods will all pose the same effects as foods in baseline reality.

The Restrooms are always very clean and are entirely functional, they will have subway tiles on the lower part of the wall and floor. and drywall on the higher part of the wall. Outfitted with stalls and florescent lighting. If you dirty them, they will automatically clean once you exit the restroom.

Entities

No Hostile entities can be found to this date. The native entity named “The worker” is found on every ordering area. The entity will only attack if you attempt to hurt the entity or you attempt to steal from the business. This is also the only entity that can be found on this level. The worker will look like a wanderer.

Colonies and Outposts

Colonies cannot be formed due to the levels finite length and the lack of material besides the levels own food.

Entrances

You can enter via Level 604 when you see a small town and go onto the parking lot of a donut shop that has a neon sign that will say “Open 24/7”

You can enter via Level 9 and Level 11 by entering the parking lot of any donut shop.

Exits

Safely Exiting has been proven to be relatively easy. Stealing an item from this level or entering an employee only area will result in you getting kicked out by a clerk and thrown to the parking lot which will result in you noclipping straight to The padded room, which is not recommended.

The only safe way to escape is to ask an employee entity to take you to the exit. The entity will lead you to the back door which can only be accessed by going past the kitchen. Then when you go outside, you will noclip through the grass to Level 607 or Level 606 depending on your attitude.
