Description
Falling, Falling, Falling. There seems to be no more than that here. You can do it as long as you wish, but you will never reach the bottom. But is there actually an end to this lifeless hell? Is there a bottom to this everdeepening pit?
An Artist's Depiction of a part of Level 606.
Level 606, also known as The Fall of Despair, is an endlessly deep & tall 400-400 ft wide chasm that appears to be made of Triangles, triangular-shaped objects and office Items. When one enters the Level, you will be on a large table that is floating above the Chasm, or as some depict is "Floating over the abyss". The Table will have writing carved into its surface in an unknown language. Some say it was written there by [REDACTED]. If one falls from the Table, they will infinitely fall through the endless abyss of shelves, triangles and etc. After falling for 10km, some shelves will start glowing and flashing for an unknown reason.
Whispers can constantly be heard from all sides, and they talk about your failures, your fears, your darkest secrets, and more. They suck all hope from you until there is nothing left. You will just be another Souless Husk or Corpse falling infinitely through the chasm.
All Electronics do not work in this Level. There is also a wierd effect in this Level where when you have entered the Level, all time you will spend in it equals to 1 Second of time outside of it. If you die in it, this effect no longer works.
Some people have actually managed to get to the sides of the Level and into the cracks in the walls. Usually, getting here will help you find supplies in the shelves. There are also Shelves that lead out of the Level, but most of the Exits lead to The Void. Others lead to bleak rooms that have nothing except for a chair, a table, and a picture that has memetic properties. The picture can do two things, depending how far the person has fallen:
- Effect 1: If you have fallen for 0-1000 meters, the image will heavily damage your eyes, and you will for the next 400 meters not be able to see anything clearly.
- Effect 2:If you have fallen for 1001-2000 meters, then the picture will have changed into an image of a loved one. Seeing the picture will cause deep depression for the next 1000 meters.
- Effect 3:If you have fallen 5000+ meters, it will change to a picture that will deeply disturb you in every way imaginable. This will be like this as long as you stay in the Level.
- Effect [REDACTED]:If you have fallen [REDACTED] meters, ██████ ████████████ ██████ ██████.
Also, the Level will violently glitch every 2 hours, and the Level will change in colour.
There are also variours other effects the Chasm gives to the ones that fall down it. Here is a list of them:
- 0 Meters Fallen/Standing on The Table
- A Slight Headache, and an intense feeling of Acrophobia. The Acrophobia has caused multiple people to stay on the Table and starve to death.
- 1-1000 Meters Fallen

- 10,000+ ...? Meters Fallen
- You feel... different. You have gone this far, and it never seems to stop. Will you ever reach your final destination?
- 100,000 Meters Fallen
- You are still not dead. I have a feeling you should stop now, maybe die sometime soon? You KNOW this fall is literal HELL at this point. You feel like you want to be dead. Then why aren't you?!?!
- [REDACTED] Meters Fallen/ THE BOTTOM
- After going through what seemed like a Never-Ending Hell, you have finally reached the end. God welcomes you into his arms, and calls you H O M E . You are free now. You can finally transcend to where your ancestors are. You can finally get out of this place after so long.
Entities
The Level is completely and utterly devoid of any entities.
Logs
This Log was recorded in the year 20XX by a M.E.G Agent named Callum after he got there by escaping from Level 2 by entering a door inscribed with the text "Falling, Falling". He had to enter, as his entire Exploration Group had been killed by a Group of Hounds, Smilers, and Smiling Haunters. As he was being chased by them, he escaped through the door. The Log continues from there.
Also, the Recorder somehow activated as soon as Callum entered the Level.
| MEG LOGM.E.G Agent Callum: *huff *puff THAT WAS SOMETHING.
M.E.G Agent Callum: ... M.E.G Agent Callum: Those Entities killed my whole group! Poor Jeff and Lisa. They were planning a marriage. I wonder how I will be able to tell this to Base. M.E.G Agent Callum: *takes his walkie talkie out of his pocket M.E.G Agent Callum: Base Gamma, here is Agent Callum. Base Gamma? *he tries to call his base, but it doesn't work M.E.G Agent Callum: D*mn it! There must be some kind of electromagnetic waves in this Level. M.E.G Agent Callum: Talking about the Level, where the HECK am I right now? *Callum realises that he is standing on a floating table and nearly falls off it M.E.G Agent Callum: WHAT THE ***********************!!! M.E.G Agent Callum: WHERE THE- WHAT THE- M.E.G Agent Callum: Ooo. Deep breaths Callum, deep breaths. M.E.G Agent Callum: First of all, I should probably try the Log Recorde- M.E.G Agent Callum: Oh, its already on. *slightly embarrassed that it recorded his whole breakdown M.E.G Agent Callum: *looks around I have never heard of this Level. I could name it! M.E.G Agent Callum: Hmmm. I could name it... Level 606! Yeah, that sounds about right. M.E.G Agent Callum: Let's describe the Level... M.E.G Agent Callum: Sooo, it seems like this place is basically a giant pit. I can see the Ceiling a couple meters above me. And I am standing on a floating table. And the Table has a Skull on it and weird language carved into it. Sounds about right. But... how far down does this go? *throws a pebble into the Chasm and waits *an hour later M.E.G Agent Callum: Uhh, I wonder how far down that goes. Is it just that I couldn't hear the pebble landing on the bottom, or is it STILL falling?! M.E.G Agent Callum: Oh well. It seems like I have no other options. It would be better to die now, because I don't think there are any other exits. And it would be over quickly. *Callum jumps off the table, and falls *10 days later... M.E.G Agent Callum: Hello, here's Callum again. I don't know why the Recorder still has battery, But, this is not AS bad as I expected. After I had fallen about... probably around 2100 Meters, I got bored and slightly sick so I aimed for the Walls. Then I hit a Shelf, and somehow went through it. At first I thought I had escaped, but instead I had instead found a large tent with LOADS of supplies stuffed inside it. I slept there for the night, as the Recorder had a clock on it, telling me it was nightime. I wondered if I would ever get out of here, and fell asleep. On my way down I also saw what looked like glitching, but only once. Also, there don't seem to be any Entities down here. No clue why. But I met just one single person while falling, and he told me that if I see a Picture on a Table, that I should not look at it under any circumstances. He was wierd. M.E.G Agent Callum: Whatever, I have been falling, eating, falling, sleeping, and falling. M.E.G Agent Callum: I also saw a room with a pool in it. After a moment somebody came out of it. He seemed confused. Then he went under the water again, held three fingers in the air, and he vanished. No clue where it led, but if I see one of those pools again, I'll try what he did. M.E.G Agent Callum: Also, recently I saw these wierd floating balls. I hope that I can escape soon. I should have followed that man through the pool. But it is too late for that now... *??? days later... M.E.G Agent Callum: *laughs I have no clue how long I have been down here. It is as if I have always been here. The Supplies have stopped appearing, the glitches are getting worse, and I constantly vomit from the headaches. I don't know how far I have fallen. But I must continue. It is my only purpose now. ... Do you think he will escape? Do you believe there is still a way out? If so, read this:M.E.G Agent Callum: W-What? FINALLY, A POOL!!! *Callum dives into the cool water, and submerges himself for 10 Seconds in the Pool while holding up three fingers above the Water M.E.G Agent Callum: FINALLY, ESCAPE- Wait a moment, I know this place! This is Level 37! I think I will finally be able to report to base and say I am alive!!! ... Do you TRUELY believe it ended that way? That he could "escape" ? No, he went too deep for that to be an option. What you just heard was an alternate version of him from another World, with another Backrooms. OUR Callum is still here = ) [REDACTED[ days later... M.E.G Agent Callum: I-is that the bottom? HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHA M.E.G Agent Callum: This isn't real. I have had hallucinations like this before, IT IS ALL A LIE!!!- *Callum suddently stops mid-air ???: Hello there, young one. You will be taken from this hell, and join the others. You have ascended and gone against the odds. You deserves this. ^"*)OT&)*OJ%M&"JT)OJCQSN(T*N"PC(*NTM"Y(&_$MC£&&Y *The rest of the log is static. Nobody has ever found out what happened to Callum, but this Log somehow appeared in his old Base, Base Gamma right after his dissapearance |
