Description and Layer 0

Level 610 is an infinite shopping mall, resembling Frontrooms mega malls such as the Mall of America, West Edmonton Mall, and the American Dream Mall, etc. It has a strong Wi-Fi connection and contains operational stores, restaurants, theaters, amusement parks and water parks, aquariums, hotels, and other things. The stores and restaurants restock automatically and are kept operating by Facelings with the Level 11[1] effect and by human colonists. This is a very desirable level to travelers and has a high population. The mall exits lead to other malls within level 610 as well as other levels such as Level 11(Level 11[1]), Level 33-2[0](Level 33[1]), and Level 161. Some food courts lead to Level 6.1[1]. This level acts as a hub because it has exits to a lot of different levels. If you know where to look, you can go to an undetermined amount of levels. The back areas such as stock and maintenance rooms are usually safe but can contain entrances to level 611[1]. (do not enter bloodstained rusty metal doors for your own good.) Music playing in layer 0 is mostly from recent times.

Layer 1

Instead of level 33-2[0]'s corrosion effect, you can find parts of the level that are pre renovation or pre demolition versions with stores and other things that have been changed or removed. You start in the modern areas and can travel to areas in different phases of renovation, or when they were first built. These areas are is good condition. Stores that no longer exist in the Frontrooms are operational in level 610 and old attractions are operational such as rides that were removed and amusement parks that were re-themed. Music playing here is mostly older.

Layer 2

Layer 2 does not mostly resemble any known mall in the Frontrooms but some parts can partly resemble them. This layer and contains stores and products that don't exist in our reality in the Frontrooms alongside ones that do. The architecture can become weird or cool. Some products are from the backrooms and alternate realities. The attractions include amusement park rides that don't exist in our reality, were designed and never built, and rare models. Music playing here can come from alternate realities and can range from bad to awesome.

Layer 3

Survival Difficulty: Class 2-3

The architecture becomes very weird and against safety codes and the products can have dangerous properties. Some parts of this layer are class 2 and some are class 3 (mainly the parts with entities.) It is advised to only buy or use products that you have been informed about from a reliable source. Most of the hazards in this layer are environmental. The design of this layer comes with various hazards. Some areas do not have railings and there are sometimes weird open elevators that can be unsafe and regular elevators can be unpredictable and dangerous. Escalators can stop, speed up, slow down, and reverse. Use stairs or escalators. The attractions can be unsafe such as dangerous rides and a waterpark with dangerous properties such as varying water levels and slides that lead to a hazard. Unlike layers 0-2, not all the back areas in layer 3 are safe (class 3-4). Music and sounds playing in some areas might unsettle explorers and can even lead to negative mental effects. Some displays in the mall seem uncanny and cause uneasiness to people. Going closer to these can cause negative mental effects but you might have to run past to get places. They can even harm people that interact with them. This effect is also present in some amusement park rides and even in bathrooms. Some things causing uneasiness can be felt and heard through walls and from a distance. Animatronics can be found in certain places such as amusement park rides and they can be dangerous. Entrances to level 611[1] can be found in places other than the back areas and stockrooms and some of the metal doors are not bloodstained and are only a bit rusty. (do not enter for your own good.)

Layer 4

Survival Difficulty: Class 3-4

The design of this layer seems to break safety codes on purpose and endanger the public most of it takes place in an attraction rather than the mall area. Stairs and Walkways are narrow and have no railings. Harmful entities can spawn in areas with less people and wander in to more crowded areas. (not that there are a lot of people in this layer.) Back areas can lead to layer 5. Do not enter any completely enclosed small rooms such as elevators, changerooms, and bathrooms with no gaps on the door for your own good. Entrances to level 611[1] in this layer are disguised as normal doors. The weird open elevators are more common here and are more dangerous and some can defy gravity, but they are safer than the normal ones. Use stairs (they are usually narrow and have no railings). Escalators can stop, speed up, slow down, and reverse. (they are also usually narrow and have no railings). Some stores and most attractions are not safe. Do not buy or use most of the products or go on any rides. There are more displays and areas with stronger negative effects. Some areas can be easy to enter but harder to exit by various means including anomalous ones such as one way forcefields. These areas can be very dangerous and are traps. They can be entered unknowingly in this layer, and they have entrances in layer 3 and sometimes layer 2, but these are obvious and have warning signs. Is hard to get out but it is possible to get to layer 3 or 2 if you are lucky. Much of layer 4 consists of these areas and they can be dangerous just to be in. One common one is an indoor amusement park that is filled with traps, dangerous rides, audio and mental hazards, dangerous animatronics, and evil mascots. You can't avoid getting on the rides for long because of the mascots and the design of the park, but it is possible to stay safe on some rides if you know what to do. Some rides, especially dark rides lead to layer 5. If you can't escape you will eventually succumb to one of the rides or mental hazards or get taken to layer 5. Sometimes people are loaded onto a train like in WW2 and sent to layer 5 through a tunnel. Another common Trap zone is a waterpark that has slides that lead to a hazard. The water level here changes and can trap people in areas that hold you underwater such as slides, tunnels, decorations, nets, ceilings, pool floaties, and other people. This zone is connected to another common trap zone that consists of aquarium tunnels. These tunnels can be cave like and have pools in them and they can completely fill with water and sometimes the glass will phase out and let sharks into the pool. Some smaller, darker tunnels and some slides can lead to layer 5.

Layer 5

Survival Difficulty: Class 4-5

Layer 5 solely consists of enclosed back hallways and dark tunnels and caves with colorful alien plant sea urchin like entities that drain you of sanity, cause pain, and can suck your energy. Creepy entities also roam these halls and hunt people and are immune to the neon plants. If an entity catches you either wandering or incapacitated by the plants it will take you through a metal door to level 611[1] Escape is not something you should expect to see but a few people have gotten back to layer 4 with PTSD. They then had to escape to layer 3 and then to layer 2 for medical and psychological help.

Colonies and Outposts

There are many groups active In Level 610 that exist in other levels as well as a few based out of this level.

Obscure Products Administration (O.P.A.)

This group documents and tests items from layers 2 and 3. They are allies with the B.N.T.G. and the M.E.G. and their main outpost is in a warehouse stock room turned lab in layer 2. They also have an outpost in layer 3.

Multiverse Radio

This group's main outpost is between a security room and a radio station in layer 2. They connect their equipment to the intercom, record the audio, and upload music from alternate realities to the backrooms internet. They also own a radio station in level 11.
