Subject: Strange anomalies are occurring in Level 630.
Hello Gary, I've decided to contact you about an undergoing change in Level 630, as it looks completely different from what I remember. Green smog can be found everywhere, the trees appear to be rotting, the grass turned into an orange-like color, and the plants here appear to wither. I don't know if this is a new level I've discovered, but I am sure that this has to be Level 630 because I entered a rare passage in Level 626. Att. u/9io.
Protected File: The following file is highly confidential and must not be leaked to any personnel with clearance lower than Level 4; any leakers will be blocked from accessing the Backrooms Database.
Reason: This file contains information regarding something which may cause an end-of-the-world scenario in The Frontrooms. To view the following file, you must have a ranking of Level 4 or higher.
Level 630, nicknamed as "Polluted Nature" is a vast, polluted and adulterated orange forest; estimated to extend 60 million mi².The level includes dull trees, being somewhat damaged and plagued with Nuclear Fluid, which spans from 10 to 50 feet high; the type of the trees that are present here are oak, birch and other undiscovered types of trees. Other plant life is present on Level 630, such as tangerine shrubs, bushes and grass; often withered and covered in Nuclear Fluid.
Aside from plants, other natural objects are also present, including rocks, radioactive rivers, fallen trees and intoxicated lakes. Unique lakes, rivers and ponds are found throughout the level, containing green radioactive water. The water is extremely dangerous and radioactive, as they can dissolve one’s body within seconds and release a thick green smog which may lead to severe health complications and infections when inhaled. Due to substantial amounts of radiation present within Level 630, visiting the level without any protective gear that does not reduce radiation exposure will likely lead to acute radiation poisoning almost immediately upon entering.
Abandoned man-made structures covered by Nuclear Fluid are also present in this level, which includes cabins, watchtowers, tunnels, piles of logs and bases; which contains several objects such as tools, almond water, food and other items though they are unusable due to them being broken and covered by Nuclear Fluid. These man-made indicates former human habitation before Entity 99 arrived.
As one wanders far enough in Level 630, one may find an green, motionless ocean made of Nuclear Fluid in Level 630. It is not recommended for one to go to the ocean as it contains highly corrosive and radioactive water which is extremely toxic to wanderers. Luckily, the ocean is devoid of harmful entities and include an exit to Level 87 when one travels far enough, though attempts of reaching Level 87 has failed due to the nature of the ocean.
An infamous property of Level 630 that should be noted is that the level is capable of infecting other levels. For example, Level 22 has been contaminated by Level 630. M.E.G. Is currently trying to find a cure for this infection; however, they are currently struggling to find one. If a cure cannot be discovered within a timely matter, the infection will quickly spread to other levels and devastate all of the Backrooms. In addition, the infection also may spread to The Frontrooms, causing an end-of-the-world scenario.
Temperature and Climate
Level 630’s temperature is similar to the frontrooms; as the temperature at daytime ranges from 20°C to 30°C, and at nighttime the temperature ranges from 15°C to 20°C. The day and night cycle of the level takes approximately 24 hours to complete, leading to 12 hours of sunlight and 12 hours of darkness. The weather of this level is mostly clear, however the level includes special weather events, such as acid rain and radioactive fog; making the level even more dangerous.
Level 630 Orgins
Level 630 is originally was known as a extremely safe and habitable level. It is theorized at one point, the level was broken into 3 similar levels and drifted apart across The Void. Soon after The Split, the level’s environment was drastically changed due to Entity 111 entering the level, contiminating the level with Nuclear Fluid. These changes did not just affect the landscape but also affected the flora and fauna, changing the nature of the area altogether. The area underwent severe mutations and expansions, taking on a completely new form from the initial level, no longer bearing any resemblance to its original state. The aftermath made the level one of the most dangerous and uninhabitable levels, due to numerous extremely dangerous environmental hazards and entities.
Note
A note was found at one of the abandoned outposts before the contamination of Level 630. The writer is presumed to be dead shortly after.
My Journal of Level 630.
Day 1: I entered through the promising glass doors from Level 610. It is a safe haven for me, resources are abundant and friendly outposts are everywhere
Day 2: I sensed something was wrong, the split soon happened, breaking pieces of land and sending wanderers to The Void. I was lucky enough to survive.
Day 3: A strange entity called The Nuclei arrived here, polluting most of the landscape. The level i thought to be home has transformed into a hazardous wasteland.
Day 4: The level is no longer habitable, most of the outposts evacuated, and nuclear entities began appearing, killing most wanderers.
Entities
Although Level 630 was once devoid of harmful entities, many hostilities entered from The Hive and Level 870, which soon became mutated by Nuclear Fluid.
An image of the Nuclear Membri charging at a wanderer. The photographer was presumed dead.
The Nuclear Membri, also known as Entity N-1 (Nuclear-1), was the first entity to be discovered in Level 630. It is a variant of the Aranea Membri. Compared to its original version, Nuclear Membri specimens are greener in appearance with neon red eyes.
Biology
Nuclear Membri possess three legs and half of their cracked skulls are exposed. Not much is known about the biology of Nuclear Membri as their internals undergo rapid solvation upon the cessation of brain activity.
Behaviour
Nuclear Membri can sniff out their prey from 27-34m (90-110ft) away. Similar to its original version and can reach up to 50 mph (80 kph). As a result of the layout in Level 630, it is nearly impossible to outrun them.
Unlike its original version, it does not catch its prey by emerging from the ceiling. Instead, it will burrow underground until it sniffs out its prey; once it sniffs out its target, it will burrow up and chase its prey.
Skin-Dissolvers
Description
Skin-Dissolvers, also known as Entity N-2, are variants of Skin-Stealers. Despite having the same body as a Skin-Stealer, they are green in color and appear to be more deformed than a regular Skin-Stealer.
Biology
Skin-Dissolvers have an identical appearance to Skin-Stealers, except Skin-Dissolvers are tinted green, and have swollen eyes, along with many of their organs exposed.
Behaviour
Skin-Disolvers feast on Corrosive Moths, but humans are their primary prey. However, they do not eat human skin as it is poisonous to them. As a result of the deadly skin, they spit out a corrosive substance contained in their stomach to burn their victim’s skin. If this substance is left within their stomach for too long, it will eventually dissolve their body, killing them. As a result, they puncture their stomach to drain the fluid twice a month and the damage will quickly heal.
The screams of a Skin-Dissolver.
Unlike their original counterpart, Skin-Dissolvers are typically aggressive, since they need to consume large amounts of food to survive. Most of their food becomes the corrosive substance that breaks down human skin, and they seem to have an extremely powerful instinct to obtain as much of the substance as possible. When a Skin-Dissolver has no corrosive substance contained in their stomach, they will become passive. While passive, they will not attack any humans and will switch to hunting Corrosive Moths. It is believed that this happens because human skin is poisonous to Skin-Dissolvers, and without any corrosive substance to destroy human skin, they can no longer eat them.
Corrosive Moths
Description
Corrosive Moths, also known as Entity N-3, are similar to Death Moths, but are rather tinted green. In addition to similarities, they are also more passive than Death Moths, but will be damaging when provoked; when a Corrosive Moth is hurt, it will bleed out corrosive liquid, which can burn one’s flesh within seconds. Corrosive Moths have several predators, including Skin-Dissolvers, Nuclear Membris, Deathfishes, and more.
Biology
As stated above, they are similar to Death Moths but are tinted green. In addition, they are unable to produce Moth Jelly but instead will produce Nuclear Fluid.
Behaviour
Corrosive Moths are attracted to light, similar to moths from the Frontrooms. Corrosive Moths weakest sense is sight as they have blurry vision. Although their vision is bad, Corrosive Moths have an excellent sense of smell, which is used to detect food and nearby predators. It is unknown what Corrosive Moths feed on, but it is theorized that they eat the contaminated grass found frequently in Level 630. Despite their aggressive original variants and the environment they live in, Corrosive Moths are passive. In fact, 'it is the only entity in Level 630 that isn't hostile.
Deathfishes
Description
A photograph of a Deathfish that recently died.
Deathfishes, designated as Entity N-4, are green starfishes that can travel on land for at least a few hours. Their arms have suction cups, similar to a starfish in The Frontrooms. Deathfishes is 1 of the 2 entities on Level 630 that isn't a variant of another entity.
Deathfish are extremely dangerous, and should be avoided at all costs. If a Deathfish touches a person with its arms, it will rip off their skin with its suction cups, and proceed to inject a toxic slew of poisons into their victim’s body. Once their victim is dead (which normally takes about thirty seconds), they will begin feeding on their corpse.
Biology
Deathfishes are green starfish that can vary in different sizes, with some being 4 cm wide and 3 cm tall, while others being as big as 34 feet wide and 31 feet tall. However, the bigger it is, the easier it is to run away from this entity.
Behaviour
Deathfishes are mainly aggressive towards all life on Level 630, but mainly attack humans as their primary feeding. Deathfishes tend to hide from their prey so they don't notice them. However, once the prey comes near them, they will quickly jump on them and begin attacking them.
The Nucleigo
Description
Artists drawing of the Nucleigo based off of surviving victims reports.
Entity 111, more known as “The Nucleigo" or "The Destroyer of Levels", is a 22ft (6.7m) wendigo-like entity that produces Nuclear Fluid, moreover, the Nucleigo is the primary reason why Level 630 has turned into a polluted wasteland. Under no circumstances should anyone come near the Nucleigo, as it will mean certain death. This beast can run approximately 120mph (200kph) and will devour any victims it sees. The Nucleigo did not originate from Level 630, as it arrived from another level; many suggest that level being Level 870.
Huge skeletal parts that may match the Nucleigo have been discovered in other levels, such as Level 998; this may indicate that there were other Nucleigos, but they all went extinct except for one, that being the one that inhabits Level 630.
Biology
The actual physical description of the Nucleigo is unknown due to being nearly extinct and incredibly difficult to find. However, the following details of the Nucleigo are based on victims who survived this entity: the Nucleigo takes the appearance of a 22ft wendigo with a giant hole on its back; an infinite production of Nuclear Fluid appears to be dripping down from this hole.
Behaviour
The Nucleigo has no remorse for what it kills, as it is hostile to all entities and wanderers, and it will give the most gruesome death to its victims. These include: trampling the bodies of their victims, tearing their victims' bodies one by one, and even going as far as forcing them to eat their body parts.
Colonies and Outposts
Due to the nature of this level, it is impossible to create outposts here.
Entrances and Exits
Entrances
Rarely, one may enter this level by finding and walking toward an extremely rare passage from Level 626.
Getting -150 karma or lower in Level 995 will send one here.
Entering a glass door on Level 610 with the inscription "630" above the door will lead you here.
When walking through Level 793, an entrance to an adulterated forest can be found, which will lead you here if one pass through it.
Using an elevator on Level 22 that leads to levels instead of floors and selecting 630 will bring you here.
Exits
Finding a rare underground entrance will lead one to either Level 64 or The Hive.
Travelling far enough in the oceans will take one to Level 87.
Noclipping into a freestanding grey pillar will bring you to Level 610, however if one noclips in a red pillar, one will be taken to Level 850 instead.
One may exit by tripping and noclipping on a lake, leading to Level 870, however this is incredibly hard to do.
Passing out in the level’s ocean may lead to Level 351.

Addendum: "The Nucleigo"
I don’t know what has happened to the outpost, as I have been wandering around for a while. The outpost was destroyed, covered in a green liquid, and was wrecked apart. I hear screams from someone, a fellow comrade of mine, being torn apart in pieces; that's when the slaughter started. I saw many get killed by the wendigo like entity, right in front of my eyes, while other members collapsed from the radioactive smog.
I think..well hopefully think that some fled to other levels. I'd like to think that I wasn't the unlucky one..the one that wouldn't be stranded and knew their way to the exit, where I just hope that's true, cause I think I'm starting to lose it. I keep seeing things, I don't know if they're real but I keep seeing an unknown entity inch closer and closer- Oh wait..I see someo
The initial writer is presumably dead.
Open contamination of Level 630
Close contamination of Level 630
The following information, while some of it is verified fact, is a likely timeline for what happened in Level 630, based off of testimony from former settlers within the level and M.E.G. experiments and simulations.
2014/8/10 1:00 PM LT (1 day before Entity 111 arrival) On 2014/8/10, The Split occurred, breaking the level into 2 pieces, which eventually became Level 626 and Level 630. While the levels drifted along the void, various entities soon entered the level from The Hive and Level 870; due to various anomalies.
2014/8/11 1:00 PM LT (0 hours after Entity 111 arrival) On 2014/8/11, an entity known as the "Nucleigo" arrived in Level 630. It is unknown where it came from, but many speculate that the entity came from Level 870. Upon arrival, it began to release Nuclear Fluid from its body, which contaminated large portions of Almond Water.
2014/8/11 3:00 PM LT (2 hours after Entity 111 arrival) Plants within Level 630 began losing their color and wilting. A couple of wanderers, seeing what was happening, fled the level. Most were unaware of what was happening or did not think it was an issue.
2014/8/11 4:00 PM LT (3 hours after Entity 111 arrival) The clouds started turning a light shade of green.
2014/8/11 5:00 PM LT (4 hours after Entity 111 arrival) Plants began to wilt and become a light shade of orange. The Tree Residents held an emergency meeting, and it was decided to evacuate via a nearby exit to Level 87.
2014/8/11 6:00 PM LT (5 hours after Entity 111 arrival) Plants started withering and turning a dull shade of orange, and the clouds fully transitioned to a shade of green. By this time, the Tree Residents fully evacuated.
2014/8/11 7:00 PM LT (6 hours after Entity 111 arrival) By this time, the Nucleigo had saturated most of the Almond Water lakes, rivers, and oceans within ten miles of the Nucleigo’s entrance point, turning them into a cocktail of Nuclear Fluid.
2014/8/11 8:00 PM LT (7 hours after Entity 111 arrival) The changes to Level 630 became more and more obvious.
Over the next 12 hours, the area affected by the Nuclear Fluid continued to expand, reaching 100 miles from the Nucleigo’s entrance point by 4:00 AM LT on August 12. Most of the plants within that area had withered and had become a dull orange. The majority of the trees had been destroyed.
2014/8/12 10:00 AM LT (21 hours after Entity 111 arrival) All tree houses constructed by the Tree Residents were destroyed, due to the trees they were on falling or the wood rotting.
At about this time, Outpost 630 became aware of what was happening. They immediately began to evacuate, heading for the exit to the exit the Tree Residents had used earlier. Unfortunately, a combination of the now-corrupted environment and the bloodthirsty Nucleigo caused over half of them to die before they reached the exit.
2014/8/12 12:00 PM LT (23 hours after Entity 111 arrival) The atmosphere of Level 630 became hazardous, due to the fog produced by Nuclear Fluid.
2014/8/12 1:00 PM LT (1 day after Entity 111 arrival)All previously-explored areas of Level 630 became fully contaminated.
2014/8/13 (2 days after Entity 111 arrival) Almost all wanderers who did not manage to escape Level 630died.
2014/8/14 (3 days after Entity 111 arrival) The M.E.G.learns of what happened in Level 630. Immediately, they and the Forest Backrooms Alliance begin dispatching aid to the survivors in Level 87 and elsewhere possible and begin the process of debriefing survivors.
2014/8/18 (7 days after Entity 111 arrival) During an M.E.G. exploration mission in Level 630, a Nuclear Membri is found. Before it attacked the team, it was killed by a harpoon. In addition, a remotely-operated drone was sent into a cave entrance; the drone stumbled upon The Hive, explaining why entities started randomly appearing in Level 630.
2016/2/14 (1+ year after Entity 111 arrival) Following reports of Level 64 experiencing major changes, the M.E.G. deploys a team to investigate. Several liters of Nuclear Fluid are discovered. This leads to a theory that Level 630 is infecting other levels with Nuclear Fluid, which is confirmed a few weeks later when huge portions of Nuclear Fluid are found in Level 22.
If Nuclear Fluid keeps spreading towards other levels, there is a chance that some of the substance could enter The Frontrooms, causing an end-of-the-world scenario.
