Level 648, "Hell City" is the 649th level of the Backrooms
Description
Level 648 is a destroyed city, nobody really knows the origin, but people assert that this once was a level of a normal city. Entities like Hounds & Skinstealers exist here. When you explore the city further, you see dead bodys of humans & entities. Sometimes on the ground there is also rotten food or paper. The paper is labeled with messages like "It's the end...", "Help!", or "We are doomed..." In the destroyed houses there are chests with things like food, rotten food or other things that wanderers need to survive, but most of the food is rotten. The air smells dusty, and the ground is made of different types of stone or just dirt.
Discovery & Statistics
The level was discovered on the 17th April 2009 by an unknown wanderer. It's very hard to enter this level, but big groups want to explore the mysterious level. The number of visits is unknown, but it's sure not very high. Only 11 people reported exiting the level.
Entrances
It's interesting that you can't enter this level from Level 647. But you can enter it through level 11 by noclipping through grass, which is rare to find there, a reason why not much is known about the level.
Exits
You can only exit the level if you noclip into anything. Then, you are either in level 6, level 8, or level 9. It's generally hard to go to this level, or to exit this, that's why not really much people visited this, and there are no colonies, as said before.
