Level 678 is the 679th level of The Backrooms.

Description

Unknown photographer.]] Level 678 is a very simple level, being composed only of a giant room shaped like a hexagonal prism, with nothing inside. The level, reportedly, is just a giant void inside, with a l0t of objects falling at the same time. The estimated length from the ceiling to the floor is 9 kilometers, but the level is still being studied. Some objects that can be seen falling from the “sky” are: acoustic pianos, entities, other humans, glass bottles of almond water, canned food, etc.
Although the level is basically a void, it isn't pitch black, as some of the objects that magically fall from the ceiling emit some sort of light. Unfortunately, all the photos taken there weren't capable of register the actual prism, so it just looks like a common pitch black photo.
It isn't known if something actually exists outside the prism, but according to the most recent studies, it is probably that the level is just the prism, nothing special. No anomalies or incidents were registered either.
The availability of both water bottles and food is really limited, as one must rely on sheer chance to pick up something dropping from the sky, but it isn't completely needed (outside emergency cases), because the level's course is very short.
Colonies and Outposts
Due to the nature of the level, the existence of colonies and/or outposts is impossible.
Entities
It's very hard to document the entities on Level 678 because they vary a lot from time to time, but some that appear regularly are: Facelings, Dullers, Clumps, Partygoers and Jerry.
Entrances and Exits
Entrances
- If you eventually fall in the sewer in Level 234 and it's longer than what you expected, you will go to this level. You may also randomly get here from Level 105, which is extremely similar to here.
Exits
- When you finally reach the end of the prism, you can go either to Level 19000, or you'll go all the way back to the madness of Level 0. The chances are randomized.
