Level 6890: Perlin Caves

This Level is the 6890th Level of the Backrooms.

This Level is also referred as "Level 8.7" But research is being done if this Level has connections with Level 8.

Description

Level 6980

Level 6890 appears to be an cave theorized to be infinite in horizontal extent. The sides/walls of Level 6890 are constructed from many limestone cubes that are approximately 1.5m in length. The cubes are assembled as they are fixed and snapped to some kind of 3 dimensional grid, specifically 0.75m increments.

The pattern of the walls can be traced back to mathematical outputs from random Perlin noise generation. Perlin noise is a pseudo-random pattern of float values generated across a 2D plane (although the technique does generalise to three or more dimensions.

The walls/sides of the cave always appear to be wet. The extraction of the fluid has been enacted on, and it has returned as a variant of Almond Water. Consumption of this fluid is not advised and must be inspected before indigestion.

This Level was originally mistaken as a sub-level from Level 8, as Level 6890 was originally discovered from a noclipping method tested in Level 8 and M.E.G and other miscellaneous groups in the first instance believed this level had some sort of link with Level 8 with both Levels being a variant of a cave. Until further notice, this level will be named as Level 6890 and not Level 8.7.

Polysevine

Polysevine is a compound somehow entirely exclusive to Level 6890 and even the Backrooms itself. Polysevine is found in different ore clusters interspersed around Level 6890. The compound is composed of 2 elements: Gold [Au] And Titanium [Ti]. Originally this would compose an entirely different compound than Polysevine, but it somehow yields an entirely different result. Polysevine has also been under different experiments, one being the extraction of the component elements of the compound. The test yielded a positive result. Polysevine can be broken down into it's component elements. A sub-experiment was also composed, this being the test of the elements broken down from Polysevine. This test resulted in the discovery that the component elements from Polysevine do not undergo any chemical reaction. Why this happens is unknown, but the Gold and Titanium is still worth the same as from the Frontrooms.

Colonies and Outposts

There are no colonies or outposts on this Level but it is confirmed that some are under-construction.

Outpost: POLY

Outpost Poly is a soon to be created outpost owned by M.E.G.

Soon to be situated near a polyhexade ore cluster.

Entrances and Exits

As this Level has only been recently discovered, Entrances and Exits may become functional or non-functional.

Entrances

Noclipping through an entirely random piece of limestone from Level 8 may bring you to this Level. It is an estimated 1.1% chance that you noclip and a 11.333% recurring. Your chances may be increased using an experimental noclipping method. (ENM) This page is currently private and will become public soon. THIS METHOD IS FUNCTIONAL

Using a specific string of text in the command prompt over in The End's computer may translocate you to Level 6890. THIS METHOD IS NO LONGER FUNCTIONAL
