Class: Mesaío

"Mesaío class are levels that are a bit unsafe for exploration, has medium/low entity count and can contain something that makes this level slightly unsafe for exploration, it can be a entity or a property, or something else that would make this level slightly unsafe for exploration or even something that would affect sanity slightly. Levels with this class can also have low entity count and have a high amount of resources, but beware, not everything is safe around the backrooms."

Level 698 is the 699th level of the backrooms. It resembles an average, gigantic laser tag arena, with a expected size of 542 Million square miles.

Description

Level 698 is an gigantic laser tag arena, probably built in the 90's or the early 2000's. This level is commonly used as war grounds by other groups of the backrooms, as it contains a lot of structures to hide behind, and a lot of space in general.

This level owns a dark blue rug carpet-like floor, and many colorful barriers and towers scattered across the level. Some of the barriers have circle shaped holes on their side, so the person behind the barrier can shoot trough it. There is occasional puddles of coca cola and left-overs of pizza lying on the floor, both are, somehow, safe for consumption. It wouldn't be very hygienic despite being entirely possible.

This level does not provide the equipment necessary to play laser tag normally, so travelers bring their own weapons here, leading to brutal matches of "laser" tag. This level's source of food are bags of chips lying around in random places, and coca cola cans filled with almond water, also found randomly.

This level's menu of entities are - Skin Stealers, Hounds, Facelings, Storks and rarely Smilers. No other entities such as "Partygoers" have been reported to roam this level.

Ocasionally the speakers on the ceiling may do announcements, but most of the time there is incoherent speech, or stuff like "BOOYAH! A new undying hero has been deployed in the laser arena!" but nothing happens. With a small chance, it may play music, for example:

"Aiight, time for some music my fellas, check this one out!"

Music Played: Unknown

"Heyyyy how about some intense fighting music! Get crunk with europe's brand new release!"

Music Played: Europe - The Final Countdown

Sometimes the announcer may be heard singing along with the lyrics quietly, or doing announcements in the middle of the song, however in the same rythm the song is going.

This level is somewhat nostalgic, even for wanderers born in the 2000's.

Colonies & Outposts

This level contains a high amount of Colonies & Outposts, may be due to the fact this level is perfect for making fortifications and also is very spacious.
