Unclassified Description
An unconfirmed image of the first section of Level 708.8. The status of the cameraman is unknown.
The initial part of this level is very similar to Level 708, but it differs in that everything seems to be inverted. The karaoke machine will instead automatically start playing a song that repeatedly chants "THIS WAY TO LIFE" as the singer points to the door that would normally lead out to a hallway in 708. There is red paint (blood?) on the door that says the same phrase. All but 1 survivor of this level did not go through the door, so it is firmly advised to not venture out. According to one account, when one gets close to the door, they will start hearing music that is oddly off. It is described as a popular song of the current era, but the offness of the song is unbearable and yet strangely enticing. The fire exit is now a trap that drops you directly to the void. It is said that desperate wanderers have gone through only to find the exit door unhinging and them falling into the abyss. The one survivor that went through the door is in terrible condition and can be found shivering alone in a corner of The Hub. The M.E.G has extracted information out of her, which can be accessed by inputting your credentials below.
Welcome, Gary!
Classified Description
The M.E.G has interviewed the individual and has come to the following conclusions:
The individual got to this level by continuing after she found the bright but empty booth. She said something was off about it and she continued wandering. She then found the halls getting dark and the music ominous. She decided to keep going for a while, and she then found herself no-clipped into this Level. She touched the doorknob of the painted door which made the refrain sung by the singer intensify. She describes it as a "brain piercing sound". She then proceeded to go through the door, which leads to the next area in the level. She describes it as an endless place with no structures in site, with a sky and fog of pink, blue, and yellow mixing around. She then felt herself lose control of her body and slowly walk up to a location she describes as "the stage". She saw other wanderers dancing in a very weird way in the corners of her eyes, and states that she began to see entities entering the level from an unknown location. She says it looked "like a projection". All of the sudden, she felt like a "marionette with strings on my limbs". She then found a microphone in her right hand, and then music starting playing. The music started off "somewhat normal" but then eventually got "psychotic and out of control". She states that there was no escape, and she eventually was losing control of her thoughts. She describes a sudden realization she had. "It was almost like a voice in my head: "YOU ARE THE KARAOKE NOW". She then noticed that the entities had microphones in their hands and were singing along to the song. Her mental stability drastically fell and she describes having had "thoughts of suicide, happiness, and romance in my head at the same time". She eventually tried her best to keep her thoughts. "I started counting sheep. It was the only way I could stay there." After getting to the 32,456th sheep, she described her puppet movements as "the thing was now yanking me, it seemed angry." She kept on counting until it suddenly stopped. The entities went up to her and put a coin inside a coin entering machine, and then another song started playing. Because she had barely held consciousness, she was able to look at the machine and regain her memory of Level 708. She was then no-clipped inside of a booth filled with the exact entities she saw while she was being puppeted in Level 708. On the TV screen in the booth, she saw herself paused. The entities were very angry and chased her down the hallway until she ran into an employee only door, which brought her safely to Level 40. Her mental state is very unstable, as she is constantly shaking. The talk we got out of her is a miracle.
Colonies and Outposts
Due to the danger and the unconfirmed status of this level, colonies and outposts are unfeasible.
Exits
Exits for this level are unknown. The only information we have is that you need to try your absolute hardest to keep your consciousness. The only survivor used a counting method, this may help.
Entrances
