Alpha: Delta, do you copy?
…
Alpha: I repeat — Delta, do you copy?
Delta: Yes, Alpha, I copy. Sorry for the delay. What's the issue?
Alpha: I've detected anomalies in Level 70 — specifically the database page. It appears as though someone… or something… is interfering with the entry. This interference, to my knowledge, also appears to be affecting the physical topology of the level itself.
Delta: Seems… problematic… Have any ideas on what could be causing it?
Alpha: Not exactly, but the landscape of Level 70 appears to be unstable. Some objects are disappearing into strings of 0's and 1's, while others are being added in, slowly materializing from strings of 0's and 1's.
Delta: It should resolve itself eventually. Give it some time. However, I'll forward this incident to our superiors for logging purposes.
Alpha: Thank you… Wait. What do you mean by "our superiors"? We're the heads of the depar-

Delta(?): I'm going to have to stop you right there.

Level 70 is a hostile area resembling a computer simulation. Everything in this level is created through 0's and 1's, which form the various entities, walls, and floors of this place. It works like a constantly-running computer program; every entity in here, from your ordinary Smiler to the docile Facelings, are all controlled by a computer program that determines its behavior.
For example, the Smilers in this level all have the same code, hence why they all have the same behavior; leaked classified documents have revealed what this code consists of:
function smilerAI() {
if (humanNearby == true) {
attackHuman();
}
else {
walkInCircles();
}
}
It is not recommended to enter this level, as the Coder of this level can seemingly change this entry page, as well as this level's physical appearance, entity behaviors, and property effects. To keep the Coder under control, five designated keepers named after the first five letters of the Greek alphabet monitor Level 70. If any anomalies are spotted, these keepers will call a meeting to discuss further action. It is unclear what they discuss — that information is confidential — however, it is known that the keepers will eventually revert the changes made to the code so that Level 70 stays as stable as possible.

<BEGIN ENTRY>
As one of the safest levels in the Backrooms, Level 70 is a busy area where humans of all cultures and backgrounds can congregate. It is meant to be a simulation of reality — however, everything that can cause suffering on reality has been purged. The feelings of sadness, pain, and anger; none of them exist in this world. That's because everyone is equal — in nature and in ability.
Historically, differences in skin color, gender, and other biological variations have frequently resulted in many innocent people being shunned from society… for something that they cannot control. I have devised a solution to solve all this nonsense — there will be no wars, no poverty, no inequality. Jealousy and envy will all become feelings of the past; never again will you have to complain about your neighbor being smarter, better-looking, or stronger. Your neighbor will be completely equal to you in appearance, physical strength, and intelligence — creating a level playing field where everyone can succeed.
I still have to iron out a few bugs from the Equalizer program. Mr. Johnson here has an unacceptably high IQ of 124, while everyone else is stuck with 80. However, I assure you that after the bugs have been fixed, Johnson will have an IQ of 80 — just like everyone else.

The Coder: There we go; my work has been published. Finally. Those four other keepers stood no chance against me. |

Colonies and Outposts
Simulation in infancy. Colonies and Outposts not detected.
Entrances and Exits
Entrances
- Enter the simulation.
Exits
- Why would you ever want to leave?
NOTICE FROM THE COLONIZERS OF THE BACKROOMS: Level 70 is to be avoided; the five keepers in charge of monitoring the situation have been incapacitated. As a result, Level 70 is extremely dangerous, as the Coder has most likely run rampant with his work, constantly making changes to the area.
The fate of the keepers are as follows:
Alpha - Found dead with 3 gunshot wounds; the bullets match that of Delta's gun. However, an autopsy shows that Alpha died after Delta, leading us to believe that Delta did not shoot him.
Beta - Found decapitated; head was cleanly sliced off with what appears to be a machete.
Gamma - Missing; he cannot be reached through radio and we are unsure of his whereabouts.
Delta - Body found blindfolded and gagged in a freezer in Level 11 — an autopsy shows wounds consistent with the marks of an [CENSORED INFORMATION].
