Level 7357 is the 7358th level of the back room.

Description

Level 7357 is centred on a building that resembles a late 20th century Japanese tram platform, surrounded by a starless, moonless, dark night sky and endless, desolate wilderness.

The vast majority of wanderers enter this level via the metro's trains. The train stays on this level for about five minutes, and when you get off, you look back into a dark tunnel and forward onto an endless stretch of tracks and roads on both sides. The station platform looks like 1990s Japan, with a signboard that has been haphazardly painted in black marker with "7357", the original station name "Kisaragi" only vaguely visible, a faded, dilapidated roof and closed windows and doors (there is no door, what appears to be a "door" is a part of the wall) are the duty room. On the left side of the station, there is a similarly long, barbed wire fence that is barely improssible to cross. Beyond this, there is an empty area despite dull-grey-coloured grass and occasional trees, of a similar color and atmosphere.

The space within Level 7357 seems to have some sort of wormhole-like nature, as evidenced by the fact that you keep going right in the grass on the right side of the road and eventually reach the other side of the wire fence on the left.

Level 7357 has a strong and extremely even and stable wireless network signal, which makes it easier for wanderers to survive.

The night sky inside Level 7357 is almost completely dark, with the only light sources being what appears to be incandescent lights in the station and a torch on a table in what appears to be the duty room (but due to the specific nature of this level, it is theoretically impossible to break the window panes of the duty room). In addition, all the plants on this level have a plastic-like texture and do not move or make any sound in response to atmospheric flow. In fact, this level is devoid of any living creatures other than vagrants and a very few entities. When the Wanderers force objects in this level to make a sound by applying force to them, they can only hear the muffled sound of their own flesh hitting the ground. Similarly, the environment of this level cannot be altered by any physical means.

As mentioned above, Level 7357 has a near-absolute silent, lifeless, dark and deadly environment that can easily cause psychological isolation and anxiety to wanderers trapped on this level. Even though the extremely low number of entities makes the threat from entities on this level low and avoidable, this psychological discomfort can be a significant deterrent to wanderers to leave this level.

Entities

The number of entities in this level is extremely small, with a total count of no more than 10, and mostly common humanoid or near-humanoid entities such as smilers and skinstealers and act alone, but they still need to be alerted to their danger.

All wanderers who encounter entities on this level report that all entities on this level exhibit intelligence equal to or even slightly superior to that of humans and will instinctively trick wanderers and attempt to kill them. When they find a wanderer, they make human footsteps and slowly approach the wanderer at the speed of a human on foot, trying to talk to them in a friendly and calm manner and gain their trust (yes, even the partygoers on this level do the same and claim to be "different and want to help you get out of here"). Once the wanderers have shown their trust and are walking with them in the direction they are leading, they will do everything they can to kill them brutally.

Therefore, at this level, the best way to treat entities is only to ignore them, if you don't want to turn into a blurry puddle of flesh and blood.

Colonies and Outposts

Due to the nature of the level, it is not possible to establish a colony or outpost on this level.

However, wanderers from other levels of the back room who have escaped from this level have formed a network called the "7357-kagushi Group", which provides guidance to wanderers who have strayed into Level 7357.
