Description
Level 750 is nostalgic. Resembling an old Frontrooms convention center from the 1980s, this level evokes a sense of freedom in anyone who enters it. However, this is only an illusion, as every door appears to be locked, and attempting to break down a door only reveals another wall behind it. Retro and synth music complement your time here in this level, playing from the speakers while the bright lights, slick glass elevators, and towering palm trees are truly sights to behold. The roof is partially glass, and an unmoving moon is visible upon looking up through the glass; this is the only window present in the level, and the view will always stay the same due to the lack of a day-night cycle. Security cameras and a television screen finish off the remainder of the level, with the screen being attached to one wall; unfortunately, despite our best efforts, that thing never turns on. Several wanderers have reported seeing various but meaningless visuals on the screen, but security camera footage cannot corroborate their claims, unfortunately, showing the screen to always be pitch black. However, the footage does appear to catch many people staring at that screen in awe, as though something is displayed on it.
When the clock strikes midnight, a blackout occurs and the power stops working until someone fixes it. Luckily, we have people in the electrical room ready to bring back power whenever his happens, but it takes around five to twenty minutes. In the meantime, wanderers will basically be stranded in the complete dark, but fortunately, no threats to human life exist in this level — not even during the blackout. Just sit back and relax. The power will be back on shortly.
For a building resembling 80s design, the technology here is quite modern — the lights seemingly never burn out, the elevators feel really futuristic, and the electronics in this area resemble current devices today. The screen especially has a very odd feel to it — it never turns on, but the wiring is so complex that even our electrical engineers struggle to underst-

[BEGIN AUDIO TRANSMISSION]
00:00 - Is this audio recorder on? Oh, looks like it is. Damnit. I should've seen this coming. It's another one of those routine blackouts. Oh well, I have little else to do; I'll just sit back and enjoy my time until the lights turn back on. For now, you'll get to experience the darkness with me.
[CHEERING & APPLAUSE]
00:02 - Huh, I must be hallucinating. That television screen turned on. I've never seen it do that. Doesn't look like anyone else has, since the entire building has broken into cheers and applause. I'll need to revise this little page when the power comes back on. Looks like it's just got static and colorful "TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES" displays on it; I think the engineers have finally found out how to turn the thing on. It's got the little static sound too.
00:04 - Oh, I see myself in infrared on the screen. That's cool. Oh look, it switched to an x-ray display. Damn, my bones really are messed up… And the screen's gone blank again, but it's still making distorted noises.
00:09 - Hey! The screen's back on again! However, there's now projections displaying all around me — on the roof, the floor, the four walls — all displaying the same thing as the screen, which still switches between infrared and x-ray displays. I don't think I've ever seen this happen — maybe just the engineers experimenting with the vast technology here. Where is everyone, anyway? I don't even hear any cheering or applause anymore.
00:25 - Oh, what the hell? It's been 25 minutes. The silence is killing me. How are the lights still not back on? These projections are still littering the walls and that damn screen is still on. I'll give them a few more minutes — if the lights don't come on, I'll turn them on myself in the electrical room.

00:35 - I m-must be going mad. M-mad. What's even going on?

Electrical Engineering Team:
Hello, this is the electrical engineering team speaking. We fix the blackouts, monitor the cameras, and handle the wiring. We stay back in the little room titled "ELECTRICAL" to do our business. It's locked. Don't try entering it. Unfortunately, we are currently experiencing some issues with fixing this recent blackout. Give us a few more hours; we guarantee that the light in this level will be back up and running soon. We just need to… tie up some loose wires first, dispose of any broken parts, and clean up the trash. We're dedicated to bringing the highest quality lighting possible in Level 750. Bear with us.
