Description
This level resembles a large, square tower, 300km tall, and covered in vines. The tower itself rests on what seems to be a large piece of rock, and is cracked, with sunlight streaming in through holes in the walls. Landings appear every 1km, and are 100ftx100ft, and are generally empty. A banner, bearing a red-and-white checkerboard pattern, serves as the halfway mark. There are also, rarely, incomplete skeletons on a stair landing. The stairs themselves are prone to collapse, which has a small chance to noclip you to a random negative level . Skin Stealers and Smilers can be seen on darker stair landings, which have a small chance of appearing as the next landing if you blow out a torch in one of the scones while climbing. The "halfway" landing is larger than other landings, with a table full of almond water resting near a window, along with a couple of stuffed chairs. The 288th & 289th landings contain an abundance of rusted weapons, resembling an armory.
The King
The King resides on the top of the tower, wearing a crown adorned with various precious gems. Upon reaching the top, he will offer you "Judgement".
Below is the single transcript of "Judgement."
| Wanderer: "Am I... Done yet?" *Heavy Breathing*
The King: "Welcome to my domain." Wanderer: "What? What damned domain? I didn't climb that entire thing for a domain!" The King: "Please, calm down." Wanderer: "Fine, fine. What do you have to tell me?" The King: "Judgement." Wanderer: "What the hell is judgement?" The King: "Simple. Either you fail or you succeed." Wanderer: "Still not making any sense." The King: "Do you accept?" Wanderer: "Sure, whatever." Wanderer: *Screaming* The King: "You have failed. Oblivion awaits." [The transcript ends as the audio recorder registers a final scream] |
